Templars > Assassins
AC
shit > ac's story
whole dualism of counterparts is retarded, in real world there is at least 5 factions at each other throats at all tiems
>assassin's creed thread
First one i've seen in months. so what do you want to talk about besides based Haytham being based?
Based Templars being factually right
Rogue disappointed me, why couldn't we play as a Templar that had a skill set that wasn't just parkour stabby skills?
Templars are the best faction. Rogue confirmed this.
Is the franchise dead at this point?
Wait templars are assassins now? Last one I played was 3
True their visions of the future would lead to order and peace, but the people would be super oppressed and very strictly controlled.
Shay used to be an Assassin but after they cause an earthquake that destroyed a city and killed hundreds he defected to the Templars.
Most likely. The only way they can move forwards is to reset the story and start from the beginning.
>tfw out of all the threads on Sup Forums the assassins creed ones actually have good discusions with the least amount of shitposting
Yeah. Really screwed themselves over with the post AC3 plot, though I havn't played Unity.
Black flag Was pretty good, Mostly for not focusing on assassins
That's because there isn't that many people to talk with.
;_;
Since Templars are the good Catholic boys and Assassins are the derty Arabs I guess I'm with Temps.
Unity has best graphics of any ac and a good story but the gameplay shit the bed in the beginning so lots of people GTFO
>killed hundreds
Thats pretty modest as far as Assassins go. Didn't Ezio have a kill count in the thousands in one of the AssCreed commercials?
So since 2017 will have an AC, how big of a leap are people expecting?
Full on reboot, meaning the Eden shit and modern part of the story or just another AC game. Mechanics wise, I hope they overhaul the combat. Syndicate was just fucking awful.
Why do you guys think they feel the need to make each game be set more recently than the last? It's not like there's big decisions in the games that would effect the canon of games in the past. Idk, Victorian London is scary recent, I don't want it to get more recent than that.
>there will never be an assassins creed game where you start out as a neutral third party with multiple ways to resolve missions and how you resolved them determined which faction you join at the end
They could even make the piece capable of imprinting assassin training to explain the gameplay
