Its a brag about beating Ninja Gaiden Black on the hardest difficulty and saying it was easy episode
ninja gayden is for babbys lmao
Name a more difficult game
ninja gaiden on the NES
The Dark Souls of its day
nigga no
lolno
No one has ever EVER said NGB was easy. Prove it
Ninja Gaiden II was harder.
I did beat it on the highest difficulty.
It wasn't easy though.
Still haven't beaten it on normal yet.
I beat Alma's second fight after several attempts and ended up using like two fucking talismans, then immediately fucked up and died to those damn jumping bugs in the temple.
Need to get back into that.
The fun thing about the game, at least to me, is if you get that far and start over, the beginning of the game will suddenly feel ridiculously easy even if you struggled through it the first time.
Really drives home the idea of "git gud."
I havent had the same satisfaction of beating Alma for th first time in any video days since
I picked up the original but not Black, did I fuck up
Black is pretty much a straight upgrade to the vanilla game, so yeah. The only thing missing from Black is it has no new game +.
Sigma is an upgrade to Black in some ways, but a downgrade in other ways so you could go wither way.
Not really.
IIRC Black doesn't add anything important, except for easymodo.
Except NGB is actually difficult.
Black is just a refined game with mission mode. So, no not really. Abuse the Flying Swallow while you have the chance.
This
I've beaten NGB in master ninja and it was a pain in the ass, I admit I brag about it but I never posted it was easy.
okay.
NGB was easy.
Not really, you're missing a couple weapons and mission mode that has cut bosses from the game and different enemies but outside of dark ryu battles, the game is the same.
It was fun playing as the girl with the scythe, but playing as the ninja felt repetitive. I stopped at the Water Level, shit wasn't what I expected from this game.
No, the original release was difficult. NGB was toned down.
>girl with the scythe
I have absolutely no idea who you mean. What?
Rachel.
he probs means rachel
>NGB was toned down
Confirmed for not knowing shit.
NGB upped the difficulty by having more enemy variety and upgraded AI. The only way it was "toned down" is that they added an optional easy mode, but unless you're a scrub and deliberately select easy mode, it's definitely not easier.
exact opposite retard, black has the original hard difficulty on the place of normal
It's a hammer, I'm pretty damn sure.
Personally I thought she played awfully in Sigma. One of the few things Sigma 2 improved upon was her moveset.
ninja gaiden 3 ntsc/u version for the nes
Was that specifically harder than the other versions? How come?
I picked up Razor's Edge for the WiiU
Did I fuck up?
It reminded of DMC with different combos and such. With the Ninja, the combos felt stiff and awkward. Maybe I was playing it wrong, but most of the time I could only do 3 or 4 hit combos
>I picked up the original but not Black, did I fuck up
yeah, but you didn't fuck up for your first run.
get black later because the mission mode and later difficulty modes in its singleplayer make it much better.
Not really, Razors Edge is the "good" version of 3, but the framerate stability is worse on Wii U than 360 from what I heard.
Sigma is harder
It's a lot better than vanilla but still not very good. The encounter design is mind numbingly repetitive and it feels like theres a half second input delay on everything for some reason
>the North American version was intentionally made harder than the Japanese version through limited continues, stronger enemies, and omission of a password system
Ninja Gaiden Black isn't about combo's, it's a defense based game. Ninja Gaiden 2 on the other hand is more offensive based with more "combos"
NGB: Camera = Difficulty - the game
commence shitstorm
I wish Sigma 2 wasn't so shit. I'm not trying to get another 360 to play 2 as it was intended, flaws and all.
Every time a NG thread pops up it degenerates into autists trying to establish that previous version was better and more difficult.
Only one i played so far is Sigma 2. Extremely fun game with an extremely shit setting. Master Ninja difficulty is the very definition of artificial difficulty and 100% not fun.
Well NGB wasn't very combo orientated, definitely not compared to DMC 3. You could unlock more moves by leveling up each weapon, but there wasn't as much focus on stylish combos as in DMC or even later NG games. That's what I found anyway.
You might enjoy NG II or even 3: Razor's Edge more, since they have more expanded movesets.
they pretty much give away 360's now
If you haven't played vanilla or any of the other games you don't have the right to call anyone an autist for actually having played the games. You probably have no idea what anyone in the threads are even talking about you faggarooni.
It was boring to block and wait for about 5 seconds before you could roll out, do maybe 2 or 3 hits and then continue again. The combat got more interesting when more enemies but it felt more or less the same with every encounter. Unlocking more weapons was fun for a bit but you would unlock them every 3 levels.
___ ___
dmc4 is much harder guys!
>Proceeds to prove my point about spshul club mentality
Autist gonna aut
I beat Ninja Gaiden Black on the hardest difficulty and it was easy.
Nah but I did beat it on normal in a day, I had already played the first half of the game though
I disagree
DMC games arent hard in the same way NG games are hard. They're arcadey, so the difficulty comes from combos
>memorize spawn points and hold the charged attack to unload on top of ennemies as they appear : the game
NG is honestly extremely boring, no matter how punishing it is of your mistakes
>a thread about NG1
>gets booty bothered when he gets called out for talking shit without even having played NG1
Reddit pls.
I wonder how many people have beaten NGB on Master Ninja AND beat DMD with SS ranks
I got master rank on all chapters on master difficulty on a vita with subpar fps
Now that was challenging.
What does arcadey even mean ? Arcade games were balls hard and most of them didn't have combos
Arcadey usually means it's less complex but has a much faster pace.
Only because they were deisnged to eat your quarters otherwise the palce wouldnt make money, which almost loses its meaning when ported to consoles since you have unlimited continues.
I mean DMC is score/grade based, getting SSS rank is the goal. NG is enemy based, enemies put up a real fight and dont stand around waiting to get comboed into oblivion.
I did NG2 on the highest difficulty and other than the completely bullshit first few stages, it was incredibly easy.
that and you wear a faggy purple band on your wrist the entire game if you play on easy
There are pretty unfair difficulties in many games
>>FEAR 2's hardest difficult makes the AI do almost headshots every time and have pinpoint accuracy even with a scatter-shot weapon.
>>Witcher 2 has a mode where if you die it's game over and even the normal difficulty has been difficult for other players who expected just an rpg and not the Witcher
>>most Sega Games are harder by nature of crappy design.
>I mean DMC is score/grade based, getting SSS rank is the goal.
But getting SSS in DMC4 was never hard to begin with.
Everybody knows the ranking system is fucked up in DMC4, we're talking about DMC3
you are thinking sigma man
black was the version with MORE SHIT instead of less shit
>CTRL+F
>DMC3
>1 result
>Literally your post
No we're not you fucking liar.
>the best weapon in the series only appeared in one game
It's not fair.
As i said, it is obvious that the ranking system in 4 is fucked
When you talk about the ranking system in DMC you're either talking about DMC3 or DMC1
So after that Dark Soul garbage called NIOH we're getting Ninja Gaiden 4 and then Ninja Gaiden 4: Razor's Edge (their version of a special edition) right? RIGHT!? RIGHT!!!!
Not so much. It takes the game from a 3/10 to a 6/10, but despite its flaws it's still pretty fun (although nowhere near as good as the others).
Only if you play like a baby and stick to the walls.
you have a complete control over the camera unless you're playing bad
The story "concluded" with part 3, so it's unlikely - however, $5 says that Koei/Tecmo will just make a whole new "NINJA GAIDEN MUSOU" series to print more Asiabux.
...
>musou
YOU SHUT YOUR WHORE MOUTH
it also added Master Ninja Mode (aka very hard+), and plenty of extra content in the form of missions
>not wanting ayane's ribbon
Look at this fag
>Ninja Gaiden
>Hard
ayyyy lmao it's so easy
do you guys not know about invincibility frames! They literally make you invincible to enemies while attacking jeez!
Just get the triple flying swallow for fast attacks and invincibilty frames lmao
just do ultimate techniques for even more invinviblity frames and bigs damage ayyyy
just do on landing UTs for dem instead UT attacks + invincibilty frames ayyy so easy
just get dose delimbs in 2 for dem invincibility frames and to instantly kill enemies lmao
These games are literately for babies. You have so much free invincibility that is handed out like candy it aint even funny. A baby could beat master ninja with only one hand
Pic related, my face when playing master ninja while reading this thread
What did Itagaki mean by this?
Nigga is the king troll of vidya devs. I still believe that Devil's Third is supposed to be some kind of joke.
Anyone from Sup Forums going?
he only cums when he torture ppl
Am I wrong you laughing like a madman after reading Itagaki's quote? Also I'm I wrong or a masochist for defending his concept on difficulty?
>arcadey even mean
Nothing. It's a meme word you can use to detect neo Sup Forums from miles away. People that use it haven't ever been to an arcade or even played an arcade game.
I quit playing at Murai. Too bad because you really feel like a badass in this game, moreso if you're actually good at it.
casual filter strikes again
I'm just not as patient as I was when I was younger and I beat NG2.
>It's a brag about about having your gamertag in the Ninja Gaiden Black credits episode.
