I wish I could write bullshit too
Source????
>Sony handhelds
yuck
Only reason the PSP was decent was because it had unintentional features like emulating older consoles.
Can't name it unless he wants to lose his job.
You can't make handhelds anymore unless you have pokemon and mario to carry your device.
it's over, mobile won.
Deal with it.
I fucking hope for a new handheld and will you be able to add memory since ps+ fills up with games quick.
I trust you.
If you can't use it as a smartphone. then it will underperform compared to the PSP just like the Vita.
If it doesn't have app support for the most baseline of everyday online shit and can't replace your smartphone then it is pointless to even develop the thing, let alone manufacutre it in large quantities.
Also
>system seller is supposed to be a Crash Bandicoot Remaster
Fucking great, all those years later AND I STILL DON'T GET ANY NEW FUCKING LEVELS!
Fuck your trinity, i want to know something about that fucking NEO or i need wait for fucking Scorpio.
Funnily enough, while I barely gave a fuck about the PSP, the Vita blows the 3DS the fuck out of the water.
>- Third Party games including Persona 5, World of Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest X/XI
>- PS Trinity Games can be streamed to PS4 and can be played with a DualShock 4 controller
>- Spring 2017 launch
>- price: $249 with 128 GB internal storage
You got dumb here
I don't understand your response.
>sony are still trying to win the handheld market
god bless them
So then whats the Neo? Because its obviously not the slim...right?
Been waiting for new crash bandicoot since the third one. I think sony got the license back or something and then they announce fucking remakes.
>Sony releasing a totally new handheld
>After the Vita
>In the middle of trying to launch the slim, Neo, and VR
>While smartphones are replacing PCs for certain demographics, let alone mobile gaming
That's so stupid I almost believe it
Best case scenario, it's a Vita+ a la Neo
More likely it's just a 3000 model that will be sold as a PS4 controller despite the fact that they never use it in any meaningful way. Fucking Zombi would have been a perfect second screen game, just directly port the WiiU shit.
Or Sony could just make it the Vita Go to fuck with people. That'd be funny.
Why do people act like there's no market for a dedicated portable gaming device? It's a great middle ground between sit down console experiences and mostly shallow mobile experiences. As far as I understand it, the Vita failed in the west due to overpriced proprietary storage and lack of support from western devs.
You had me up until the price and storage.
I honestly believe it failed because it didn't appeal to children. Memory cards might have been overpriced, but moms wouldn't have even known about memory cards in a lot of cases. They would've just seen the price of the console, which at launch was the same as the 3DS.
What kind of rabbis Sony cuck would buy a Sony handheld after they LITERALLY abandoned the Vita after a pathetic 2 years on the market.
You got to be a special kind of pathetic to want to buy a new handheld from this company.
>all that
>for $249
>128gb internal memory
You fucked up.
I will not forgive Sony if they create another handheld at the moment desu.
>- Crash Remaster Trilogy and Gravity Rush 2 will also launch for the device- new IP from SuckerPunch price: $249 with 128 GB internal storage
I was a child myself when the PSP launched but wasn't there a similar situation there? That required memory sticks too and in my eyes back then it seemed like it was more "mature".
kek
why would Sony be releasing a new handheld when they didn't market the Vita in any real way or support it after the first year
Sure, it probably wasn't ever going to hit piracy-inflated PSP numbers, but I have a hacked Vita right now, and there's barely that much worth pirating.
why in fuck's name didn't they just call the Vita the PSP2, I'm pretty sure that alone would have flat out doubled sales
Memory cards were a major issue too -- they gave the Vita a really bad rap among prospective buyers. Among my IRL friends, I know 2 other people with a Vita, and five others who'd have at least considered the thing if memory wasn't obnoxiously overpriced.
Memory pricing on the Vita is more important since digital downloads took off.
Wasn't the biggest issue on the PSP, since people expected to get physical games at the time.
if you never took advantage of the PSP you're a cuck
Can it emulate ps2 though?
is there any kind of homebrew scene for vita yet? psp was pretty great because of emulators etc. but vita probably can't do much more
all the vita emulators I've tried have sound stuttering issues (even when running at full speed) and aren't ideally optimized
There is no way Sony would still want to stay in the handheld market after the Vita.
Vita can currently emulate Snes 60fps, Genesis, arcade like cps1 cps2, they also even have DS running at 30fps, and various retroarch cores.
Stop posting this bogus shit you dumb faggot
Had me until LittleBigPlanet, Sonyou has put that series on hiatus right now ,and is shutting off all the servers.
Normies are happy with playing shitty non games like Pokemon Go and Candy Crush on their phones, and people who are dedicated gamers would usually prefer to play stuff on their PC or console where it can take advantage of better specs.
I've got both current handhelds for exclusives, but I really rarely take them out with me and usually only play them at home, just because it's clunky to carry around a 3ds or a vita in your pocket.
>handhelds
might pick one up someday then. even used vita's are going for pretty high price here for my taste, so might as well wait and see.
The trinity is slim, neo and vr
sony is never making another handheld again lol
Wow NX sounds so cool
shit shit and shit
