Sony doesn't care, they don't support the Vita directly and hadn't for well over a year. In fact, this only helps Sony by selling more Vitas and memory cards. What it does is hurt companies that have been releasing and localizing titles for it.

It was never possible to run USA games on a EU system from the memory card. You would always run them off of a bought cart. So that's why I'm asking.

i got a 3ds a few months ago and i'm really enjoying all the weeb stuff a lot, so i thought about getting a vita as well. the problem is that i really don't see lots of exclusives that i would play aside from persona 4 (note: i like weeb games but not datingsim-shit or games that are 100% only about girls doing cute stuff). i also own a ps3 and a ps4 so the ports are irrelevant to me as well.

the library just seems so underwhelming.

What happens if you complete a game and synchronize your trophies? Do you get banned? Or you don't earn any trophies/you have to play offline for it to work safely.
