He was trying to buy more sand for his hour glass.
I wasn't selling any.
He was trying to buy more sand for his hour glass
the city was full of maggots, and the cleaner had the day off
Is this the Payne residence?
...
Yes, someones broken into my house, they are still here, you have to..
the city is a junkie and it just overdosed on all the shit in it, too mad that im gonna pull the needle out of it
Here I was about to execute this poor bastard like some dime store angel of death and I realized they were correct, I wouldn't know right from wrong if one of them was helping the poor and the other was banging my sister...
don't answer that...
Max Payne 1 is the living proof that you don't have to sacrifice gameplay for storytelling. It revolutionized both. Bullet time was fucking ecstasy in 2001 and they just casually prompted the player to try it in the tutorial was ballsy as hell. The cheesy but entertaining photonovel strips and Payne's one milion metaphors was also great.
Fuck all fucking shower simulators and their normie audience.
Good. I'm sorry but I cannot help you. *click*
There was nothing I could do
he was a baby
You kept replaying Nothing to Lose for its resemblence to the Matrix lobby, before the actual Matrix lobby mod. Admit it.
The writing in this game was perfect. Prove me wrong.
Man this shit was so good
>that pic
Holy fuck.
the key to success is that the game doesnt take itself too serious
what we have now is AAA titles that are basicly no fun allowed areas, and even the amateurs follow
imagine no mans sky hadnt a stick in its arse, but no, milestones!!! no fun allowed sentinels etc
fuck this shit
Yeah man, fuck that's baller
>shoot elevator speaker dispensing muzak
>max thanks you
'The things that I want' by Max Payne. A smoke. A whiskey. For the sun to shine. I want to sleep, to forget. To change the past. My wife and baby girl back. Unlimited ammo and a license to kill. Right then, more than anything, I wanted her.
No, but I did enable the developer mode so I could control the camera and timescale and follow the bullets through the air into guys heads.
the dock-crane and sniper rifle sequence
MP2's graphics still hold up. Those fucking textures, man.
The early physics are still fun as well.
>Knew about this little easter egg
>Unironically enjoyed the muzak
Putting it down for that thank you from max was tough
Max Payne 4 set in a snowy Chicago or New York again when?
You know those flashback levels in 3 were the best parts of the game.
we can only hope
new york > brazil
Hell yeah, those and the airport level are the best.
Felt nice finding that out by myself as a kid.
I released my trigger from the finger.
>mfw the prologue with the fourth wall references
Guilty.
I'm conflicted about another sequel because I felt like everything wrapped itself up pretty well, but I enjoyed the gunplay and movement in every game. If they continue it I'd hope it would be a spin off of what if mona survived, or max decided to take out the mob boss that put the hit on his head. The gameplay can be any style from the trilogy and I'd enjoy it
If anything those two missions reminded me of Die Hard.
what a madman
It will be a 2 rehash. 3 was, and so will 4. This is because people understand the premise very quickly, but executives are niggers with no respect for continuity.
What would max have to say about exec greed?
Max Payne 1 is definitely in my Top 3 favorite games.
The characters and the way the story is told + the writing is all amazing.
3rd section is GOAT.
