This gets me rock hard in any game
>there's a low rumbling in the background
>occasional quiet jingles
>it gets louder the further you go
>It's a save room
>Enter enemy base and save the game
>First door triggers boss battle
>Under-leveled because you just wanted to get to the next save point and you get your ass handed to you
>Reload and leave base to grind
>You can't leave
>No enemies to grind on
>Hear really heavy breathing coming from some room at the end of the corridor
>Follow it, but as you open the door, everything goes silent. You can only hear the echo of your footsteps
>The room is well lit, and completely empty, except for a chest in the center
Why do people play games with music? Unless it's explainable in-gmae i.e. Pip-Boy radio, etc. I mute the music. Immersion is totally destroyed by battle music precognition and in general, thanks, but I actually don't need cheesy string sweeps in order to appreciate a well-crafted vista.

they are though? wtf?
Go back to New Vegas, kid.
Literally never happened.
>healing items, equipment everywhere and a save point near you
>generic horror music

If it ain't broke don't fix it I guess
Oh yeah. I forgot that Sup Forums doesn't play video games
user's parents never let them play scary games. Go easy on the innocent one.
Thanks Serious Sam for making me not want to grab small health pickups in other games.
It happened to me, but it was a bug
It was in Dark Souls, Anor Londo, in that room where you find Havel's set. Next to it there's a room with a titanite demon, but the first room is a basement, and it appears that by entering it, you get out of the demon breathing sound's range
did someone just trace that reaction pic, change nothing about it but make it shittier
what the fuck, why

Every time I see an upgrade alone in a room that I didn't have to fight to get to, I jump to pick it up and try touching as little of the floor as possible. Super Metroid taught me that and now I can't help it.
