Yokai Watch will eventually be more famous than Pokemon ever was! You'll see!

>Yokai Watch will eventually be more famous than Pokemon ever was!
Literally no one thought this.

Although it's not as popular as it is in Japan, Yo-kai Watch products sold pretty well during the holidays.

...

Anyone have an updated list of those numbers for the PS4 and XB1?

>Yo-kai Watch products sold pretty well during the holidays

That tends to happen when kids say they want X for Christmas, parents can't find it or don't know what they're talking bout, and the Walmart electronics guy suggests Y instead because he's been told to push excess units.

KOMASAN IS CUTE! POST KOMASAN!

The first Google result says
>PS4: 40 mil
>Xbone: 21 mil
>WiiU 13 mil

Okay, sure.

i had a lot more fun with the first yokai watch on the 3ds than pokemon Y. yokai watch was kind of shitty in some parts, but the battles were fun, animations were nice, and it looked way better than pokemon. it kind of reminded me of playing battle network, so it really hit that nostalgia i was looking for. i thought i'd enjoy the recent pokemon games but i'm not having any fun with them. most of the designs are boring while still looking the same. how can anyone even enjoy pokemon at this point?

>PS4: 40 mil
>Xbone: 21 mil

WHO /FLESHYSOULS/ HERE?

BONEYFAGS NEED NOT APPLY

>It'll be more famous
>Implying that it will have an equal to if not greater fanbase of pokemon
>I'm not a fan of it therefore it is already statistically proven it won't be more popular

>Fleshyfag can't even spell bony
Bonyfag here. I have applied.

Well, at least I know you'll side with Toadal. Only true degenerates would pick boner AND Spider trap

And what parents wouldn't be able to find pokemon stuff during holiday shopping, though?

The toys were selling well is what he was probably getting at

Source? First game sold 195,000 in the U.S. between its November 6, 2015 release and January 2016, according to NPD Group. Fucking Pokémon Super Mystery Dungeon had over 350,000 as of the same date, and was released a full two weeks later to boot. Not to mention that's just a not-nearly-as-popular spin-off series.

Its cartoon series is also the lowest-rated show on Disney XD right now.

The U.S. doesn't seem interested in Yo-kai Watch

God damn, I deleted that as fast as I could to correct my mistake, but someone still replied to it...

who cares

Protip: A thing doesn't have to pull in HUGE numbers to "sell well."

Given the huge difference in marketing and overall appeal of it, YW isn't popular in America because every monster is based off of some Japanese myth/legend.

The exact same thing happened in Japan. YW won't be fucking massive, but it's gonna reach at least Kirby levels westside

>Got all the weapons in FF14
>Don't know any of these fuck's names

>Toadal Dude

people like things they can relate to. Pokemon is based on real animals for the most part so a kid can look at them and understand it. Yokai Watch doesn't really work outside of japan since no normal child let alone person knows about that kind of stuff. I like that stuff, but even then its character designs are so bad they make the new pokemon look great by comparison in the gameplay looks infinitely worse, which is pretty disappointing

Yokai watch Yu Yu Hakusho instead.

I know jackshit about Yokai Watch and I want to give it a try but I got a question before buying

What game/version has the best waifu?
