So I'm playing the original Deus Ex for the first time. What should I expect? I played Human Revolution first and I really liked that game a lot.
So far I these government robot men that appear on the helicopter pad a UNATCO really frighten me.

kill yourself
okay
Seriously though, I'm having problems with framerate, and that's ridiculous since I have a new computer and this game is old as shit. It mainly happens whenever I look at water.
So I killed a bunch of terrorists and my brother Paul is giving me shit, and the dude at the armory wouldn't give me ammo. Should I start a new game?
Just fucking play the game you faggot, why do you need our approval?
So I should restart?
No need to restart. You can still 'make it up' to paul if you want and the ammo guy literally doesn't matter narrativley or gameplay-wise.
no? have you got no free will since you need fucking approval of npcs? some like you violent, some don't, bro and carter don't, navarre will suck your dick later if you keep the attitude
So why was Paul getting pissy at me cause I killed a bunch of terrorists that were killing civilians? Those guys deserved it.
Use the "Deus Exe" launcher
A launcher? You mean, manually start it using the game's files instead of through STEAM?
quotation marks are there for a reason kentie.net
Okay, I got the launcher. Works better now. thanks!
I saw a some gameplay of MD and thought it looked pretty good
So i when back and tried HR again.
I always quite at the first boss
But once you get past it the game gets fun
But playing though HR is making me want to go play Deus Ex
I always avoided it because it looked too complicated
Should I?
Also plz no spoilers for any of the games
In HR im a little past the part where Malik Dies
Expect Old Men running the world.
>DXHR boss fights
am i the only one who found these to be easy? the first boss is the easiest imo, especialy without augs. all you do is throw barrels at him and shoot.
now people are complaining that there are no boss fights in MD
Okay, I got a new problem now. Everytime I try to open up the menu, or inventory screen, the game takes forever and it always threatens to crash. This only just started happening since I installed the "Deus exe" launcher
A NEW AGE
we have other problems
They are easy
If you are not stealth passive
...
You'll understand later.
I haven't played Deus Ex in a while. Is Deus Exe practically the only real improvement I need if I want to play the game on a modern PC?
Ah yes, most certainly.
doesnt even matter. if you are going for the pacifist achievement bosses don't count.
I know that im just saying i wouldn't have the proper weaponry
Every boss has an environmental weakness. If you can't win with your spec, use the environment.
Spoilers:
Barret: throw Poison barrels and fire extinguishers to stun him. The room is also full of grenades and guns..
Natasha: Stand on a computer and shoot the big machines in the wall to electrify the floor. Alternatively spend 1 praxis point and use typhoon twice.
Jaron: if you don't get the biochip he's piss easy. Just peek out and shoot after grenades. You can also uppercut him as he jumps over walls.
Xang: The laser goes through her forcefield and lets you skip the whole fight.
Alright, time to prod things with the prod
