I've already played all the Souls games and Dragon's Dogma, so I'm looking for some casual weeabshit to enjoy when I'm bored of my autistic MMO grind. I was thinking of getting Zestiria, but I've heard nothing but negative things about it.
Nicholas Carter
Hyperdimension Neptunia
But really, the only reason Zestiria gets badmouthed is because it takes out their submissive waifu and replaces her with the leader of an assassin brotherhood.

Trails in the sky is pretty good, haven't played a lot of it but so far i really like it.
Chase Clark
Gotta agree, jokes are kinda lame but has nice gameplay and difficulty.
Jack Morris
wasn't Disgaea released on the PC recently? you can swap your autistic MMO grind for some autistic JRPG grind.
Gabriel Brown
It had a bad release with a lot of bugs but it's playable as of now
Aaron Cruz
I've actually had the Nep games on my radar for some time, but there are so many games. I have no idea what's worth playing.
I'll have a look at this. Looks like a classic JRPG.
Played 1 and 2 to death on my PSDouble.
Keep 'em coming lads. I'm buying all of these eventually. I can burn through weeabshit fast.
Christopher Gutierrez
All the nep games play the same for the most part. So you can just start at 1 and work your way through the rest. There is also Fairy Fencer F which plays just like Nep.

CAPITALISM, THE VIDEO GAME It's Recettear
Parker Brooks
A friend with whom I've played basically every Tales game told me to not buy it. Not because of the waifu, but because of the camera trouble, the ridiculous weapon fusing thing and the way the combat apparently focuses a lot on the fusion mechanic.
Levi Phillips
This.
Heard the D1 port was really well done, maybe I'll pick it up and 2 when it comes out (despite owning them on PS2).
>Hyperdimension Neptunia Mindless, sugary fun. Definite purchase when they're on sale and you're looking for something cute, fun to play.
Gabriel Lopez
I'll second this. It's really heavy on the world-building so it can feel a bit slow, but once everything clicks it's wonderful.
The second and third games respectively are and will be on Steam, too, if you end up liking it.
Nathaniel Carter
Ys, motherfucker.
Dylan Nelson
Have you played the Ys series?

More of an action game than a JRPG but if OP hasn't played them yet then they're pretty solid too.
Start with Felghana and/or Origin. Felghana is more open, Origin is more linear. Then do the other one. I, II, and Napishtim are also on Steam but they're a bit weaker.
Jose Harris
He also asked for weeabshit, and I guess Ys falls under that?
You could also just emulate a lot of earlier Tales games, though they're obviously not on Steam.
Logan Anderson
I've only played Oath in Felghana. I enjoyed it immensely, but it's not what I'm looking for right now.
Luke Morales
Fair enough. Final Fantasy X is on Steam, and a bunch of the other FFs as well, might be something?
Eli Richardson
You can try out Voidspire Tactics. Combat is better than FFT's, and fiddling around with class combinations can be lots of fun.
Christopher Barnes
Any Disgaea/NIS game, they're fun and the flashy special attacks are always entertaining. The first one is on Steam, and the second one is coming in January, you should give it a shot, especially if you don't mind a little grind to go with your vidya.
Lincoln Hill
Aw whoops, didn't see that someone mentioned Disgaea. In that case, try out Phantom Brave, it's done by the same guys and the story is about a necromancer loli and her dead ghost friend trying to make money. Just as addictive, twice as emotional.
