It's upsetting to me that SFV is the first SF game I've really felt myself enjoying and Capcom has botched almost everything every step of the way.

Haven't played since I platinum the game last week, but that's also mainly because the connection has been terrible where I am and the last time I went online, I had like two or three dropped games in an hour and I don't want to risk a soft ban/fight money reduction.

Now, I've been busy with Deus Ex, but I'll either pick it up again this weekend or when Urien drops

I definitely see myself returning to SF5 once I need a break from KoF XIV. I almost expected this to happen. KoF XIV's completely different pace will make SF5 feel fresh again when I'm more in the mood for solid fundamentals and focused, deliberate fighting.

The game is okay but I just hate the pace and how some characters fit the pace and mechanics of the game so much better than others.

My main is not that great and I'm pretty shit so the game feels like a struggle most of the time to the point winning is not satisfying. The slow menus and the slow matchmaking don't help either. I do like it a million times more than SF4 though.

I was but then I realized I could be playing funner games on fightcade. Fightcade a free to download arcade emulator that allows you to fight others over the interenet in various arcade games like Metal Slug, Street Fighter, Jojos and many other games.

I've just started getting into it. I'm no good, i'm basicly at a level where i'm able to complete the character challenges but it can take a lot of tries. However, i'm winning online fairly often despite what people say about how skilled everyone is. For some reason I love playing Zangief and overusing throws against all those Kens.
I've yet to decide who i'm gonna main, Ryu is obviously the best for a beginner but I don't want to add to the shotos galore in low ranks.

Ryu is the best for beginners, pros and everyone.
But really, just play who clicked with you the most, even if it is Zangief. He is low tier, but it's still the first year. He is probably in the buff radar.

Tip of the iceberg:
-Launch was sub-par
-Minor technical issues which still remain unfixed. Most of them are annoying than gamebreaking though.
-8f inputdelay makes some things harder to do, but you're talking at higher levels for it to make a real difference
-Stubby gorilla-sized normals combined with different range makes certain aspects of the game weird when combined with 8f inputdelay.
-Lack of content and Crapcom's shit communication

I like SF5 but I kinda agree with most of the complaints too.

Yeah the game was a mess on launch and clearly NOT finished or ready to go in any capacity, but I think the gameplay itself is just as solid as you can get in a fighting game, for the most part. It's not like USFIV didn't have its share of problems.

I have played 300 hours. I feel like at this stage, I need to take a break. The game is fun but some things piss me off such as long waiting times between matches and some awkward design decisions like the fuck huge hit spark effects.

Sold it a long ass time ago. I might return if they ever release a "Greatest Hits/Game of the Year" edition. But until then it's as much a DLC money scam as DoA5.

I stopped once I hit Silver. Don't really enjoy it enough to keep trying.

No. because to the moment i got the game until is topped playing it has been one of the worst experiences in fighting games i've ever had in my life.
