I don't think it's ever been re-released in any form beyond " a genesis rom running on an emulator" since the PC port back in like 1995. I assume it's got something to do with music issues since that one changed some tracks as well.

I'm sorry that I really like After Burner 2. It's really fun and i'd play it for hours on end if I could.

Honestly I think I just don't understand how to play. I feel like whenever I try afterburner I just move all over trying to dodge projectiles and no matter what I do I will always get shot down in like 30 seconds. I don't get how it's fun but maybe I'm just approaching it the wrong way.

Reminder these aren't ports, these are emulators. You can even replace the roms and it just works. There's lots of games already done on 3DSISO.
