Not him but I'm having a harder time playing these games for long durations than I used to. The tendons in my hands and forearms start to hurt within an hour of play. Maybe I'm just letting myself get too tense.

Play Matryoshka on hard a few times. Then other songs feel like a breeze.

I play them all even Future Tone, the fact that I'm shit at them doesn't stop me.

Also other rhythm games, like pic related (which is great because it's similar in difficulty to Mirai DX)

Play Dedede's drum dash deluxe, it's a fun rhythm game
Anyway just grind your favorite song for MP or whatever they have in Diva, you'll get better.

Try this, the gameplay is identical to Project Diva games without any touch controls.

Practice makes perfect. Work on dual-wielding to push notes faster on higher difficulty, but besides that keep playing and have fun.
I'm a firm believer that practicing something above your level is much more helpful than practicing something at or below your level.

Matryoshka on hard is nuts, took me like three tries to clear it, and even more before I could clear it consistently. Romeo and cinderella on super hard is nuts though, think it's cause it changes the notes for the same patterns. I should play more project mirai than i do, game's really fun. All the other miku games are on ps4 / vita aren't they

Matryoshka and Invisible are the hardest SUPERHARD songs for me. Romeo and Cinderella is relaxing by comparisons.
