Yes, being forced to listen to characters I don't care about droning on about bullshit and serving as demos for their ebin physics and scripting engine IS a cutscene. In fact, it's worse, because not only is there no gameplay, but it can't be skipped.

Oh, I did. I played through the whole game co op with a friend through Synergy. It was the only way I could be assed to play through the intro. The game is mediocre at best. It's a boring shooter with annoying, unskippable cutscenes.

Aside from some ridiculous characters models(which you can turn off or chose other ones) and the porn grafitti I think most of the levels got actually more immersive and felt more real.

Bridge is actually damaged, you can see a little but most is behind the plane

The main problem I have with the mod is the art direction has been totally changed for the most part. Sometimes it works, but most of the times, it destroys the atmosphere of the original game.

What I liked with the original was the mix between eastern europe shithole mixed with futuristic metal structure.
In the mod, City 17 looks like a generic american town.

Also, the new music is bland.
