Wings of Freedom

Why aren't you maiming Levi?

Annie is for _____?

Can we even have a sequel to this game now? I just caught up with the manga and unless they changed the type of game, it won't work.

Already got Sasha to level 7 and she's the best. Also, the game isn't hard enough to actually require anything except decent weapons. I one shot everything.

Why would you maim Levi? That's just rude.

i use hange zoe alot Shame she is so weak
and why even include levi? or any other high ranking member you have no reason not to pick levi

No a new game like this one could work
Maybe you make your own character and it would focus on the 5 years eren and them are in school going out on expeditions and what not

Jewish name

Emotionally protecting.

>Don't bother upgrading or buying new equipment
>Find out I need to build all of the equipment for a trophy

Never seen the anime. Don't care. Bought this game anyway.

Fucking great. One of the most interesting musous in years.

Give the anime and manga a go, user. It's great.

Best Spiderman game in a decade desu

Not playing on Hard user? I've leveled Christa to 6 & simply can't win max-difficulty expedition missions with her. Different characters offer different degrees of strength.

How's Sasha the best, what skills does she get? Does she screech annoyingly often during missions?

The only option I got was to play on not-easy. How do you get it to go to hard?

...it's in the options.

I've been enjoying it myself but damn there are a lot of little shitty things to complain about.
>had to find Xinput Plus to set a deadzone to my analog sticks
>escort missions; not so bad in themselves except sometimes the AI just freezes on its spot or starts running in circles
>rising difficulty is for the most part thicker skin on titans, instead of more aggressive behavior or intelligent attacks

Options>Settings>Game>Difficulty
I'm not sure but I believe higher difficulty only means thicker skin on titans. Still makes it impossible to win harder missions as, say, Christa.

How far have you guys reached? I've completed the main story, & am on the last expedition in the Southern Unexplored Region.

I really wish swinging around had more physics in it, & something getting in the way of your rope didn't immediately cut it off but rather swung you around in another direction.

Well fuck I thought there was only easy and normal, as it asked me at the start of the game.

Does anyone use any squad tactic aside from Focus? Do they help in later missions?

>had to find Xinput Plus to set a deadzone to my analog sticks

Oh shit thanks, i'd been trying everything to fix that shit.

I think anything even mildly approaching realistic physics in the game would make it impossible to play, with that said it does feel overly easy, not all that involving and occasionally just stupidly awkward because you're relying entirely on an automated swinging process.

>anything even mildly approaching realistic physics in the game would make it impossible to play
Have you played the AoT tribute game?

>Xinput Plus
Leave most settings at default, check DirectInput, you might need to customize some controls but I'm sure you can figure it out.

>I've completed the main story, & am on the last expedition in the Southern Unexplored Region.
Same here I think. I just have to finish one more region until the secret ending.

>Read the manga up to the current chapter
>tfw they didn't do the Beast Titan interestingly enough

How would you like an AoT open world meme game?

>they didn't do the Beast Titan interestingly enough
in the game or in the manga?
I agree for either. In the manga it's only done so little but they already (barely) reveal his secrets.
In the game he hardly poses a threat & never clusterbombs you.

>No minimaps, you have to rely on looking out for flares to subjugate Totans
>Lesser Titans, but they require more skill to take down
>More to do outside of missions
>Some exploration

#I'mWithHer

I was talking about the game, specifically, but I get what you mean with the manga. In the game, he just comes off as a generic Abormal Titan, when he's far from that in the manga. However, how didn't Zeke know what vertical manoeuvring equipment was earlier when he was first introduced? Would he be aware of its existence?

Don't lie to him, it's slow as molasses and has no pay off; It's one of those mangas where the only focus is gore before actual story.

>It's one of those mangas where the only focus is gore before actual story
>Goes for many chapters without Totan killing in favour of following an interesting conspiracy plotline

Who is the best girl in the series?

>swing across an intersection
>giant hand reaches out & grabs you

This would be the right way to do it, but you know that won't be the case. But let's keep on dreaming.
>survival mode: over the course of in-game months/years, titans repeatedly breach walls & invade deeper & deeper
>you have to manage regiment activities & mission planning, be it evacuation, retaking walls, scouting missions, setting up supply routes, researching equipment & secret weapons, and eventually exterminating titans

>how didn't Zeke know what vertical manoeuvring equipment was earlier when he was first introduced?
It may have been a long time ago for me, when'd this happen?

Ymir > Annie > Sasha

>tfw Bert finally proves himself man enough for Annie and then he fucking dies

If Hange is a girl, she is best girl.
If Hange isn't a girl, he is still best girl.

I support the suggestion to watch it. It's entertaining. There are issues with the story & pacing, but it's a pretty hype, edgy anime. Gore isn't overdone but there's a lot of it where appropriate. Characters don't seem to just come & die like they would in Game of Thrones, I mean, sure a lot die, but I never really felt any that did were very invested characters, & those that are don't die just for the sake of killing off a major character for shock value.

How far does the story go?

>Hange
>talks your ear off all day & night about titan research while you're eating, drinking & sexing
Is there a fetish for this kind of thing?

>Ymir > Annie > Sasha
Ymir might be genuinely mean, Annie would be a great dominatrix, Sasha is just annoying screeches.

Mikasa = Christa > Annie > Petra = Ymir > Sasha = Mina
inb4 MC's girl can never be best girl

In the game the story only goes from the start to the end of the anime, sadly.

An AOT strategy based game would be great too.

When he was first introduced and talked to Eld(?).

It tackles some parts from the next season, but not in the canon way.

The game's main portion goes up to the end of the anime series so far. There's a ton more missions & a bunch of extra story missions (I haven't finished them), but I don't believe they actually delve into the story, though they feature some (one?) character ahead of the series, it doesn't seem spoilery.

Mikasa is cool but she's like Rei, cant see her in any romantic capacity

is the treasure box edition worth it?

Mikasa > Annie > Sasha > Isabel > Christa > Petra > Anyone else

Do you like the series? If you do, you might as well if you like art books too. I don't think they've ever released the Armin DLC included publicly.

>she's like Rei
I guess this is why I'm attracted to her, but she's nowhere near as emotionless as Rei.

Yeah, the next seasons will show her more emotional moments more. I wanted to protect her emotionally.

...

She gets emotional fairly often user. She just doesn't get it to show on her face easily, but it happens often. Berserker rage. Lost hope. Regained hope. Bawled her eyes out. Overprotective. Blushed when teased. These aren't things you'd get from a Rei.

I meant she appears less stoic facially. She is pretty emotional and more than people give her credit.

The game is really fun desu

>Historia that low
>not even listing Hanji

i'll end ur life you filthy animeonly

Will we ever see Eren reciprocate Mikasa's feelings more?

I guess Zeke only meant "what is the device, how does it work", rather than "how do you swing around like Spiderman". If it was the latter, perhaps, since Reiner & Bert went into the wall for the first time & haven't been out since then, they haven't reported back to Zeke about their findings.

Also, who thinks it was stupid of humanity to not section the space between Walls Maria & Sina into quarters?

I didn't like Historia that much after her arc, honestly. She would have been third best for me, but Sasha became more loveable in the manga as it went on for me. I forgot about Hange, but she alright.

I suppose you're right, he probably did mean how it mechanically works, not that he was surprised they could do it.

>An AOT strategy based game
Something like Real-Time Tactics? Or more like Grand Strategy? A combination of both a-la Total War series might be interesting, if lacking in unit variety. It'd be small.

>play Arumin
>it actually feels like you have a team
>take on a titan alone while I send members to attack others

Pretty fun musou. Besides Sengoku Basara its the only one that I feel like finishing and didnt leave me bored after 2 hours playing.

is this game any good

hows the movement? is it like that indie game Sup Forums used to play?

the anime is really fun if you aren't an anime snob

Because I don't play games with bad gameplay

Yeah, what's it like?
I've never seen anything like it before.

Add supermovement/unconventional mobility to any game & it instantly gets a boost in fun factor.

How do you have teammates attack other titans? just lock on, order an attack, then you move on to another titan?

The movement isn't physics-based like the tribute game at all. It's pretty simple to play but seems to be a lot of fun for a lot of people. Really does a good job of making you feel like a soldier from the AoT universe.

So basically, it has more than a fair share of problems, as well as disappointments, but it can be enjoyable. I'm just trying to keep you from getting hyped about it.

thanks

Yeah.
You can also tell them to attack one limb while you attack another on same titan.
And every character has the spread out command but I rarely see the AI killing titans by themselves.
Dunno if its cuz I play on hard.

>You can also tell them to attack one limb while you attack another on same titan
That I already used to do. Armin may be weak but he's better than Christa for being able to do at least that.

oh god
what happens in the manga
spoil it for me

Everyone's a Titan now

Can I play this thing if I don't want to read the manga till its finished?

Someone post that page

Reiner was the Armoured Titan and Bertolt was the Collosal Titan, Christa is royalty, Ymir was a Titan that ate a Shifter and gained he ability to turn human again, Eren can now "control" lesser Titans, Levi and Mikasa may have some relation to each other, Armin gets burnt badly (by being brave) by Collosal and injected with the Titan formula to save his life which means he has to eat Bert to gain the ability to Titan shift. Also their was an Illuminatai-esque group pulling the tribe and keeping new technology hidden.

if this is really the case then thats fucking gay

Yeah.

>it actually feels like you have a team
A musou where your allies are more than just loss conditions? That would be a change for the better.

so do you find anything out relevant as to why the titans exist and how they get rid of them or does the plot just keep getting crazier with no point in mind like lost

Why would someone lie on the internet?

Is the PC port any good? If so, is it ok to play with M+K or do you need a controller?

It seems they're humans, but we're not sure how or what happened to make so many of them. Do you remember the basement that Eren's father talked about? They're probably going down it VERY soon and seeing as Eren's father was a Titan turned human again, it'll probably explain a lot of mysteries about he series.

I haven't tried the M+K controls but I heard they're absolute dog shit.

>they're finally reaching the basement

nigga it's been like 3 goddamn years

>Annie would be a great dominatrix

this the manga or anime?

They finally have he ability to retake Shinganshina and probably will open it up in the next few chapters.

Hopefully.

>in the next few chapters

Your mom's a Titan.

The port is anything but good (Thanks Koei Tecmo), but it runs fine.
There is no mouse support, not without investing some time googling & setting it up at least.
That said, gamepad users have all complained about different issues, but I managed to resolve mine after a fair bit of googling & trial & error.

The butthurt this image generates is priceless.

I'll bet all my waifus that some political bullshit delays them further.
That said, I have no idea whether or not the writer intends to drag the series on until it rots like most manga do.

>They're probably going down it VERY soon

>they're finally about to break through
>Eren is in titan mode

>oh no something went wrong again
>welp better turn back guys
>oh wait where's eren still

proceed to have the rest of the chapter be Eren fucking shit up

>finally about to get to the basement
>another titan comes up and fights eren, knocks him over onto the house
>house is demolished and the basement's secrets gone forever

>BRAY aren't playable
Still mad

I told everyone that would happen

We'll probably have a chapter that deals with the fallout with Armin being a Titan Shifter, probably going back to the inner wall to stock up and then go back to the basement. I hope so at least. Who knows.

I'd drop the series without batting my eyes if they go on & stretch shit out for the fuck of it.

HAHAHA, HOLY FUCK

>They return to Shinganshina after gathering more men and women, supplies etc
>Zeke and co are there again
Or
>They get into the basement but it's been raided already
Or
>Politics prevent them from returning for a while because they lost so much in that mission

What do you realistically think will be in the basement anyway?

A way to win the war once & for all, & hopefully to give view of an end to the series within some 15-20 chapters.
