What was the one that replaced you with a doll and then threw ninja stars? That one
John Wright
Usually something with a * or something I could use to set up a PA asap
Brayden Morgan
The one that had a dummy Megaman, where it puts a ??? over you, and when you take damage, Mega does a substitution no jutsu and throw shurikens.
My favorite, and most fucking useful chip in the game.
Bentley Torres
I'm not sure if I ever used that one. Sounds pretty hilarious though.
Jaxon Stewart
You mean antidmg
Liam Martin
I took the one that stole ground and filled my deck with swords. Best decision ever.
William Wood
CopyDmg *
Luis Williams
Hey there kid. I heard you wanted these brand new chips..
Joshua Barnes
The only one i ever used was the bamboo lance, shit was fucking useful for enemies that love to hide in the back, AKA most bosses.
Jackson Carter
>RELEASE YOUR DARKNESS Every fucking time
Elijah White
Never used Dark Chips, but god damn.
Matthew Jones
>there will never be some fangame focused on multi player that allows you to do crazy ass shit like being able to do net battles with chips from all 6 games, and being able to restrict and enable certain elements such as souls, styles, and beasts, and chips libraries from specifc games
Hudson Sullivan
So, something like SoRR?
John Lewis
VARsword
Charles Rogers
>P2W DLC chips No thanks.
Blake Morgan
AIR HOCKEY
Ryan Cruz
wasnt the bamboo lance a regular grass type chip in the other games? I forget if that one had it as a regular chip variant as well.
Cameron James
Folderback cause it was fucking game breaking
Jaxson Evans
Did you buy him, right?
Logan Nguyen
This is the best battle chip of all time.
Carson Wood
I remember when I was a kid playing BN3, I only had 1 chip strong enough to break the statues at the Post-game area. Folderback was a godsend.
Benjamin Scott
side bubble is better
Jace Bell
>tfw program advance appears with the airhockey chips
Carter Watson
>chaos unison wind soul Way too fucking good.
Joshua Lee
>Side Bubble explain
Josiah Brown
>team colonel >you could use dark invis with no side effects
Game played by itself once you did so
Nolan Cook
Folderback is for pussies. I have the white version. I beat the final forms of Bass, Serenade and Alpha without it. I beat my friend who had the blue version who had it. The look on his face when I used the elemental sword combo to wipe him out before he could spam his heal chips.
Gabriel James
>when you have multiple airhocs and the enemy is in the middle panel
Side Bubble is good but is not Rape-Tier like AirHockey specially combined with Knight Soul
Henry Green
Imagine this new MMBN game:
Every player has their own account(Your PC). Every website generates a randomized level that you can access just by going to it via your game, like you go to www.twitter.com and you enter a level, fight viruses, collect shit - normal stuff. Some special websites would have unique levels with multiple stages and a boss at end - like facebook would have one and you would fight ZuckerMan at end.
As your level increases you can design your own level on your homepage - you pick which viruses roam, what rewards there are and what Navi is the boss at end (most likely your own Navi controlled by computer). You could also visit other people's homepages, fight on their sungeons, read their BBS board and even post a request for real time pvp fight.
Liam Morris
>What was your favorite Battle Chip Sup Forums? Mole/PopUp was the one I always liked using. It lasted vastly longer than Barrier or Invis as long as you didn't get hit, and avoided so much possible damage.
For attack chips, Bubbler was always a good early one. ZapRing was good as well. MetaGel was amazing in BN3 for both dealing damage and stealing areas, especially with the Advance. And I enjoyed the "flamethrowers" (ElemFire, ElemIce, etc.) from BN4 for some simple high-damage attacks which cut through blocks.
This thing was godlike with MetalSoul. Charge it up and watch it chew through a lifebar like you wouldn't believe.
Anthony Robinson
>when you realise undernet BBS would be pretty much Sup Forums
Adrian Rogers
>ZuckerMan I'm sold.
Jonathan Butler
>The way they used dark cards to temp to you in a pinch was nice
Jayden Ward
Just want everyone to remember this was a thing
Josiah Harris
That's ok user, you don't have to remind me to masturbate.
Benjamin Garcia
Could a game in the same style as BN be made today?
Gabriel Powell
user i don't think you read my statement enough i said fangame there wouldn't be any dlc with that hopefully
Jaxon Roberts
>still haven't gotten the battle network cd boxset because 120 dollary doos is a shit ton, >i have pretty much $1000 of other music related expenses i need to take care of before the end of the year before i can even consider buying it
James Parker
>Chrono X is trash >Shanghai.exe is top tier BN fangame but no translation at all Being a BN fan is suffering.
Ian Torres
>DIscover Chaos Fusion >Still wary about using it because it fucking summons DarkMega if you mess up the split second timing.
Hudson Martinez
What's that? You're invisible? Too bad. -zap-
Carson Baker
Literally kickstarted my corruption fetish.
Noah Turner
>The one you had appear the the beginning of every fight? Always either FastGuage or FullCust. was always my favorite thought.
Noah Long
It's a shame she never got much art.
Keeping things on topic, was there any actual use for roll chips, besides during the regular playthrough when you're still trying to build a folder?
Blake Rodriguez
The one that shoots a backwards Pacman through 3 threads.
Dylan Lewis
Shanghai.EXE is also not finished yet. I doubt anyone would even attempt a translation until it is.
Easton Evans
Not really, I never used an R code folder and if I wanted to heal I'd rather use a stronger chip than that.
Tyler King
Yea several of the dark chips have regular versions
Anthony Roberts
BN3 Varsword was bullshit of the highest caliber and remains one of my favorite chips to this day because of that. Other picks would be Plasma, KillerEye and NoBeam.
Luis Powell
I guess Roll chips were okay.
Justin Wright
Gutsman for those quick random encounter wins.
Anthony Mitchell
They got a bit more useful when they turned multi-hit, IMO.
Gavin Watson
It's weird. I watched one of the Chrono X devs play BN3 and that guy seemed to know everything about the games, including obscure shit like the chances of a specific item being dropped. But yet when I played Chrono X I immediately noticed that even basic shit was off.
Jackson Robinson
Yeah. Same.
Charles Harris
Show me a better Navi design, I'll wait
Camden Robinson
Knowing how a game works is not sufficient in of itself to give one enough skill to make their own game.
See most Mega Man fan games for other examples.
Aiden King
>I immediately noticed that even basic shit was off. What kind of basic shit eaxctly
Brody Martin
So did any of you get this figure? Still waiting for mine to arrive.
Owen Thompson
Between Starforce and Battle Network, who was bestest girl?
Adam Russell
no, Sup Forums would be a bunch of idiots hanging out in broad daylight pretending/deluding themselves into thinking they're a badass undernet gang
Anthony Nguyen
Yep, I got it. Waiting for the shipping to arrive as well.
Isaiah Miller
I want to bury my penis in those core drills
Gavin Sullivan
That's exactly what the undernet BBS was. A bunch of people spouting bullshit and thinking they got what was going on, only you replace Sup Forums's terms with edgy ones
Jaxson Cooper
SF had bestest girl, BN has a way higher concentration of waifu material.
Thomas Long
Damn these were good games
I think fast gauge was the one I had starred. Loved using that meteor wand chip too
Landon Morgan
I see.
Owen Cruz
All of them do actually, other than release your darkness(unique), tornado(regular tornados don't expand) and the enemy paralyzer they're actually all just copies of normal chips with more damage or more hits.
Jaxon Diaz
Off the top of my head, the way text boxes worked. In an actual BN game, pressing the B button would normally make the text appear faster than if you pressed the A button, and if you held B it would automatically keep moving to the next string of text. In Chrono X the A and B equivalents both affect the text in the exact same way.
There were other things too, mainly timing issues.
Jackson Barnes
>the MMBN games will never get a definitive version with souls from both of their respective number instead of this bullshit where each game has only half the souls and dark chips and etc
Robert Reyes
Did you tell them about it?
Aaron Richardson
can't i like all the navi design?
John Howard
Luna and Pride are the best girls from their respective series.
Zachary Evans
Princess Pride does things to my dick.
Hunter Morgan
Gotta have that Pokemon angle.
Cameron Parker
You FUCKER. My Navi is RUINED.
Jonathan Barnes
You've been ignoring me this whole time!
Nathan Harris
I didn't. You are the only good Starforce.
Andrew Ramirez
They make her thicker in fanart than normal. Is it because of the anime?
Juan Murphy
undernet would be deep web
Cooper Rivera
SMALL BREASTS
Austin Thompson
That's my line.
Josiah Parker
>next chip attack + 50 Does Capcom actually think this shit's useful? Why in the world is a +30 a mega chip?
Caleb Evans
gatling
Cameron Ward
Because of multi-hit.
Ayden Ross
Multi-hit attacks went way overpowered after BN3
Lucas Hill
Either that or they're just fans of big titted princesses.
Julian Clark
...
Andrew Diaz
I think the snake folders used it for one hit kills
Tyler Torres
>Super Vulcan >Full Synchro Gee, why would +30 be a mega chip?
Snake ran Wood+40, IIRC. Just like how Bubbleman used Water+40.
Lincoln Miller
>implying yoku man's stage wasn't the worst shit
Aiden Allen
sunbros wwa
Christopher Young
That's not Tengu
Justin Rogers
I'm talking about later games when they got rid of ele + chips
Christopher Ramirez
Was Snake still a thing in later games? It's been so long.
