Faith and Intelligence aren't one skill in Dark Souls

>Faith and Intelligence aren't one skill in Dark Souls

>no one posts the full thing anymore

>Faith and Intelligence aren't opposite ends of a spectrum

That might be a good argument in real life, but considering the fact that the miracles DO work in dark souls, you'd have to be stupid not to believe

What do Soulsfags know about intelligence?

Never thought about it that way, but you're absolutely correct.

that dude is dead yet?

...

No but he is in jail.

>kill a bunch of zombos using an axe
>become more intelligent

Don't piss on my euphoria, buddy.

For 96 hours in a county jail, he's basically in a drunk tank for 3 days.

Exactly. They are different things but one doesn't exclude the other.

Yeah but you can do magic under your own power. You either have to study hard to cast spells or you spend 3 hours a day praying to cast spells.

>you'd have to be stupid not to believe

In Demon's Souls the Talisman of Beasts reveals that the source of miracles was The Old One, one of the strongest demons, all along.

You're right, but it's a completely different argument.
My point was only that having faith in the dark souls universe isn't stupid.

...

It was DIO all along.

Unless "faith" doesn't mean "like yeah, gods are totally real" but instead represents devoutness, force of will, affinity for channeling the gods, and so on.

>game has Endurance and Resistance as separate stats
>game has Agility and Speed as separate stats
>game has Strength, Fight and Force as separate stats

Isn't that why Demon Maiden Astraea went a little looney tunes?
She has my favorite lore out of all the characters in the Soulsborne series.

>Game has intelligence and wisdom as separate stats
I mean I understand how they are about different types of thinking but I'm not sure it would apply irl

Isn't it usually described as book-smarts vs street-smarts?

>Strength and Agility are seperated

that's the explanation for common every day usage but it makes no sense in the context of your average tabletop
like rogues dont usually have wisdom for instance

Intelligence is making an atomic bomb
Wisdom is knowing why is it a bad/good idea
Charisma is tricking someone into making it For you

The original Drake.

Is he married yet?

Is this another one of those threads where Christians pretend to be atheists pretending to be fanatical Christians?

Application verses knowledge.
A high intelligence character is able to apply highly technical knowledge in a way that might not be "wise." For example, the ability to set the forest aflame, while impressive, may not be the most wise thing to do.
Wisdom is a measure of awareness in a spiritual sense. A wise priest is not necessarily an intelligent mathematician, though being wise does not prevent him from being capable at arithmetic.
Make sense?
