I'd say it's worth it at the price. Only downsides being the battery isn't as big as the XL and if you have big hands, you probably won't be comfortable.

But the swappable faceplates are a pretty cool idea and feel very smooth.

Does it come with plain white plates or only the mario themed ones?

I don't want faceplates that scream look at me. Also, mario isn't even in the top 5 of nintendo franchises I like.

Because I already bought the happy home designer New 3DS.
(And chucked the animal crossing themed plates in a drawer forever, and replaced them with smash bros.)

I remember talk about the face-plates actually giving the home menu a theme that matches the face-plates. Is this true?

if you system transfer to the system with the preinstalled software it saves to your nnid. I have the mh4u one and the games stayed on even after I transferred all my data to it

I never knew that. Makes me seriously consider this new Mario bundle in that case. A Super Smash Bros. Bundle sure would be nice, even if i already have the game. Got a physical copy but I'd like a digital copy so that I can always have it with me without having to swap out carts when I'm visiting a friend. Thanks.

I think I may have had to redownload it but it was still free. the only thing that pissed me off was that it didn't come with the free theme that everyone who bought it digitally got, which really isn't that big of a deal, all things considered.
