I tend to have more of a nostalgia for eras of gaming beyond simply the game itself. I only played Silent Hill 2 this year for example but I played it on my old phat ps2 with my crt tv and I had a very nostalgic feeling about it. Hearkening back to my youth of sitting in my room with a tiny CRT playing games I've rented from a video store.
