Nintendo's own willingness to constantly support it, meaning don't shaft all the good shit on the 3DS while the Wii U sitting dead waiting for flavor of the month every single year. It;s been absolute trash it's entire life cycle with the exception of 2013-2104

the wii u floped and it didn't killed nintendo. even if the NX fails nintendo will get another chance at the olympics to shill whatever they come up with next. lets keep in mind the nx was iwatas project the new guy probably made some slight changes according to the feedback and may very well be designing a second console just in case the nx goes the way of the wii u.

Nintendos failure to do this is what will kill it. I will enjoy playing nintendo published games on it though.

We don't even know what the fuck it is, and it's coming out less than six months from now.

Nintendo's either gone crazy, or they're crazy confident in what they're hiding behind the curtain.

A lot of non-gaming people, the market the Wii captured and sold to so well. don't realize the Wii U is a separate system. The naming scheme used (Wii remote, Wii wheel, Wii balance board) makes it sound like another accessory. It doesn't help that the controller is seen more often than the system in advertisements.

Maybe not a total flop, but it will disappoint. Nothing has really changed for Nintendo. It will still take them the same amount of time to put games out and they will get the same lackluster third party support.

They have clearly gone crazy. It's what happens when you let senior citizens who only remember the classic days of gaming still making the bigger game decisions.
