After you download/install it via Steam, do a verification of game's files, it downloads a 7MB patch fix that stops the game from crashing when you select a vehicle from the garage.

Sleeping Dogs' driving was so fucking bad and boring, all vehicles felt like they were on rails.
Shame they never got to make a proper sequel to SD, with more entertaining driving, bigger moveset and things to do SD 2 could be pretty good.
