I usually pick the darker endings first but I just couldn't do it with Demon's Souls. She was rooting for you the entire way.

I personally never got the appeal. I fucking love that game though, but I haven't tried the rest of the series.

Demon's Souls does still stand out as it's own thing though.

Play the rest of the series, you'll actually be able to formulate a proper opinion on which games are good and bad because you started with Demon's Souls.

Dark Souls 2 isn't a bad game like everyone makes it out to be, it's actually the most similar to Demon's Souls in terms of world structure
