After Sony's incompetence with 4k blu-rays, is the Xbox One S worth purchasing? How is XBL compared PSPlus?

Do you buy Blu Rays?
Do you buy 4K Blu Rays?
suddenly everyone on Sup Forums buys 4k blurays
Xbone S looks a hell of a lot nicer than both the slim and pro
I don't know who the hell Sony has doing their physical designs but they need to fire them. They look like shitty plastic toys
fucking this
who cares, everybody watches movies on Netflix and such, who actually buys physical media ?
Just the Redmond shills flooding Sup Forums right now
>tfw Sony will never top the PS3 and Vita fats designs
Dunno, I have an original Bone.
If it will run Horizon 3 and the future Forza games at less than 900p/30stableasfuck fps, I will simply build a W10 gaming PC, put my 1060 into it and buy a 1070 mini for my W7 gaming PC.
Pretty easy.
Of course I'd rather not have to, I love my original Bone, it gave me so much happiness with Horizon 2, it would hurt. I wouldn't sell it though.
Both online services are good btw, on par.
I don't have an S, but my friend does and The Martian on 4K BD played flawlessly.
As for XBL, it's better.
Not only do you get monthly 8th gen rentals during your membership like ps+ but you get 2 360 games each month which will play on your One that you are yours to own forever, even if you choose to not continue your gold membership.
Additionally, you can BUY any rented shit while on hold to gaiurantee ownership.
Can't do that on PS+, nor can you instantly cancel. That is the reason why many sonyggers will NEVER own castle of illusion or Scott pilgrim because Sony didn't even give them the choice to buy the games, and now they will lose access forever should their membership lapse.
>every single movie in the world is on a digital subscription based platform.
hate retards
i'm confused
does the new ps4 not play games in 4k? or does it?
>everybody watches movies on Netflix and such
>Everyone watches movies in shit bitrate, don't care about artifacting and are fucking plebs
Yep.
>blu-rays
>suddenly everyone on Sup Forums buys 4k blurays
I'm going to once I buy my new XBONE
Most 4k TVs already have access to Netflix and etc. Not having 4k Blu-rays seems pretty impractical.
Not natively.
Is Microsoft really going to "win" this gen's console war with the One S? or is it a bunch of shills?
pretty much actually, most people only watch movies casually, they don't care about things like artifacts and bitrate
Hey, it's missing an important note
Xbones support MKV
The Pro? No not natively, it upscales to 4k.
Wait till skorpio.
thank you
Plus UWP apps.
Plus you can ADD storage to your console instead of only being able to replace it.
And you can play some 7th gen games on there too, at no additional cost, and many even perform better than on the 360.
Considering the flop that was Neo(pro) The Skorpio has a full year to get their shit right. Screw the S Im waiting for Skorpio to release.
XBL as a service and the games they give out are way, way better than anything on playstation. The controller is much better too
>who actually buys physical media ?
Anyone with a good entertainment setup who isn't happy with Netflix's "HD" bitrates. Watch a few episodes of The Sopranos on Amazon Prime Video and then the same episodes right off the Blu-ray and you'll notice a difference. If I love the show/movie, I buy it so that I have it forever and can watch it whenever I want. I don't have to be at the whim of my ISP or Netflix's ability to bid for the rights to broadcast media.
Nice
>TVTVTVTV
No thanks.
It is the cheapest 4k Bluray player that will continue to get any necessary updates needed for them.
If you don't care about a cheap 4k Bluray player or Halo games then multiplats will play better on PC or PS4, and PS4 is where most of the Japanese games will be if those matter to you.
But does it support games
I dont care about that except for persona 5, which i will be pirating on my ps3. Xbox one for me it is then
How's that 4K tv treating you user senpai?
How many 4K blurays have you bought this week?
Physical media is going to look better than streamed shit 9/10 times.
Another thing to keep in mind is a lot of weebshit isn't just on PS4, but on PC, PS3, and Vita as well.
If you have a PS3, well, Persona 5 is coming. And if you wanna play World Of Final fantazy that has been hyped here for some reason, a compatible console for that game will literally set you back only 21 dollars.
Just bought John Wick & Fury.
Deadpool, The Revenant, and Sicario, kouhai
Criterion Collection. Plus Netflix only has a shitty selection of pleb-tier movies.
That's true for the Japanese games especially. So far most have been multiplat with Vita or later get ported to PC.
I forgot to mention, but whichever one most of your friends have should be a huge factor in deciding, both for multiplayer and for loaning games back and forth.
As someone who was Xbox 360 only for the entirety of last gen, and has both now. I can say that I prefer PSP to XBL now. XBL has had nothing but issues, seems like everytime I try to play with friends there's constant disconnects or "features aren't working"
There is no japanese game worth playing. Anything thats worth playing is also on xbox one like final fantasy 15. Persona 5 is going to be the last good one for years
Hey guys I work for Nintendo. Xbox 4 will be half pc/xbox. It will be $500 have backwards compat, 4k bluray, and kbm support.
SCREENSHOT THIS
Yeah, shills confirmed.
give an address
>Criterion Collection
Good point. Shame most of Sup Forums are huge plebs when it comes to film and probably miss YIFY.
>Xcucks shilling this hard
