I did. Did you? She has her moment near the end with the infamous Highwind scene but otherwise she is pretty shy. Otherwise she's generally just the nice girl that is loyal to Cloud. Any other personality traits she could show are VERY rarely exhibited. She hates Shin-ra and Sephiroth, and yet we hardly ever see her exhibit that. Really doesn't help that so many of her interactions are somehow related to Cloud.

Perhaps at first, yeah she joined AVALANCHE to get revenge, but once Cloud stepped on the scene, and she had something to cling to from her past, it all changed to that. Especially once she realized something wasn't right in Cloud's head, she started focusing entirely on that, even if subconsciously she over looked it because of jealousy of Aerith.

See the problem people have with her is once Cloud shows up everything she does has to be about him. Compare this to Cloud who does acknowledge Tifa's part of his past but he has so much more going on like Zack, Hojo, and Sephiroth.
How much do we learn about Tifa's master Zangan? Or anything about her that does not involve Cloud? Her entire story revolves around him.

No, I played the game and am not blinded by her tits. In fact you are kind of proving my point. Yes, you can say she joined AVALANCHE for reasons unrelated to Cloud, but the problem is that we don't ever really see that. She has plenty of reason to hate Shin-ra and Sephiroth, but that doesn't mean anything if we don't really see it. That's like saying "This character likes to play the piano" when we never see them do so.

And yes, she is pretty shy. She pines over Cloud for much of the game and yet it isn't until the Lifestream that she starts to open up about it, since she kind of has to open up in general. Compare that to Aeris who is interested in Cloud and lets him know much earlier on.

It definitely had to do with shyness to some degree. It was a contrast to Aeris, who is very confident and forthright with her interest. Tifa and Aeris in general were inversions of the usual white mage archetype.

Admittedly I never got that speech from her, as it always came from Barret. But as I said, those moments are few and far between, with most of them being in some way related to Cloud. We really don't learn much about her except in relation to Cloud. Her relationship with Cloud is the key point in her backstory. That isn't like Barret, or Cid, or Red, who have their own backstories that aren't tied to Cloud.
