the minimum native rendering resolution that a PS4pro can opt out into using debug rendering features is still twice the pixel density than the xbone, which will look dramatically better upscaled on a 4k monitor than the xbone.
That's going against the fact the PS4pro is designed for 4k and can actually attain native 4k if developers wanted to cut back a little on post-processing effects which they can easily do when designing a game with HDR in mind, as that bares no impact on the rendering performance while giving the visual discrepancy that processor-hungry post-processing effects have been chasing to emulate since 2003.
Games that opt out of using the fullest extent of the native resolution on PS4pro will instead have an estimated native pixel density of 4-7 megapixels, upscaled the rest of the way. The xbox one's pixel density resolution is 2.0
