I think the idea of what's being done with the short movie is good. Even though there's content to fill in between the musical pieces, a short keeps everything tight and focused on the music and events taking place.

Have you ever read the story laid out in the album? They could quite easily adapt it into a short film given what they've provided, the only catch is that they have to not fuck it up in production.
