How do I force myself to beat this game? Just got to World 3 and Ghido is telling me to go get weapons or some shit

How do I force myself to beat this game? Just got to World 3 and Ghido is telling me to go get weapons or some shit

>How do I force myself to beat this game?
It's a miracle someone like you even got this far.

All I want to do is to beat this and move the fuck onto VI.

Finished I, II, III, and IV already and can't afford to skip a game.

If your don't like it already then it's better to just drop it. I loved FF5 and every moment of it was pure pleasure to me.

If I may ask, how old were you when you beat the game? I'm 18 and recently got into the FF series

Also: I ain't skipping a main title nigga

You keep making these threads, kill yourself already

It's a dumb phoneposter troll making this same exact thread for like 9000th time, just so you know.

You still remember me?

I was somewhere between 17-19 myself, I think.

>I ain't skipping a main title nigga
You're clearly not enjoying it you fucking dipshit, why the hell would you keep playing it? It's your fifth FF game, surely by now you realize the games aren't connected. Just stop and go play VI you autistic shit, you have literally no reason to beat all of them if you don't want to.

You're not too far from the end actually. The only mandatory part of the Merged World is the Pyramid of Moore, you can skip everything else and go straight to the final dungeon. (Though I wouldn't recommend it since some of the stuff you can get helps a ton.)

What about the game is it that you don't like? It's by far my favorite game in the series so I'm kinda curious to see why you hate it so much.

So? I want bragging rights and the ability to say: "I beat all the FF games."

Hard bosses
Level/AP grinding
Boring plot
Exdeath is a literal knight in blue armor (wow such creative design)
Plain graphics

Jobs are cool tho

I think it's safe to say literally no one gives a shit.

...

i remember being so excited getting the translated rom and getting bored in world 2. the psx version killed all hope for me due to loading.

i enjoyed the job system

y am I wrong tho

autism lmfao

Lol I go to Princeton university. I'm definitely not autistic, I just happen to dislike FFV

How did you even get past I-IV
Also
>Hard bosses
>A bad thing

You cleared "mindless adventuring", "cast a spell 500 times to make it decent", "mindless adventuring 2: now with 20+ worthless classes" and "the 16 bit cinematic experience" and you're having trouble with an NPC telling you to grab the final weapons before going against the last boss?

You're probably going to hate FF6 if that's how you play this sort of games.

>I don't like playing this game but I absolutely need to beat it so I can tell people I did even though no one cares
sounds pretty fucking autistic to me

you seem to have very shit taste, but I still recommend you to stick with it to the end. The ending is one of my all time favorite endings.

I don't get it. Why would I not enjoy FFVI?

I have patrician tastes.

I > IV > V > II > III

>Hard bosses
What's wrong with bosses that are challenging? Most of them just requires you to strategize a bit, if you need to grind just to get past bosses you're doing it wrong.

>Level/AP grinding
AP grinding can be a problem, I'll admit that, but there's still ways around it. Objet d'Arts in Castle Bal's basement gives truckloads of AP and you can easily clear entire encounters of them through Level 5 Death or Zeninage, plus there's Magic Pots in Phoenix Tower that each give 100 (ONE HUNDRED) AP in exchange for a few elixirs. And as previously mentioned, you don't really NEED to grind to get through the game, it just makes it a bit easier.

>Boring plot
I disagree. It won't win any awards but I like that it's light-hearted with tons of comedy while still being capable of becoming dead serious at certain plot-critical moments. I think there needs to be more FF games that don't take their stories completely seriously.

>Exdeath is a literal knight in blue armor (wow such creative design)
>He doesn't like fighting a sentient evil tree clad in full fucking plate armor that's the byproduct of hundreds of evil souls merging together
Nigga I'll fight you

>Plain graphics
Alright, I'll concede this point. As far as SNES JRPGs go it's one of the less impressive ones in terms of graphics.

>Exdeath is a literal knight in blue armor
>knight

>Hard bosses
>Level/AP grinding
>Jobs are cool tho

You don't need grinding to make it far into the game; you just need to manage your jobs like you presumably did in FF1/3.
In fact, grinding breaks the game to a point where it's barely enjoyable anymore.

All you need is a couple of magicians and heavy hitters, something even the Wind shrine jobs can give you.

>Boring plot

Compared to what? The previous four?

>Exdeath is a literal knight in blue armor (wow such creative design)

At least he's not Garland or Golbez.

>Plain graphics

FF15 comes out this year (yeah, right) and even that has shit graphics.

Plot
I was boring
II was actually pretty good
I don't even remember what happened in III. Something about light and dark crystals
IV - LOL ALIENS

So should I beat this game?

do it you negroid queef sniffer

ok

not even him but yes you faggot

get off the internet and play the goddamn game, jesus christ. or don't. i dont care just fuck off already

why are the amano designs so ugly?
this all the way

I first played it and beat it when I was about 12 or 13. But there's also a specific reason.

The Anthologies (PSX) version of FFV is the only American version of FFV that allows multiplayer. So having a bro plug in and be your healer or your tank makes the game way more fun.

Like I said, no other NA version has this feature outside of rom fanlations. Not even the PSN versions.

For the millionth fucking time, you neither have to level grind or AP grind in FFV if you are not retarded or are not doing a challenge run for kicks/Four Job Fiesta.

Lol yes u do

This must explain why I did several FJFs this year without ever stopping to grind.

Oh wait.

Retard

Retard

...

Retard.

why is this shitshow of a thread still up

So should I beat FFV?

Yeah, it's a good game fag

Retard

it's objectively one of the best games in the series so yes you should beat it retard.

ok retard
