What kinds of games did you play as a kid?
My tastes haven't but the genre sure has
2 weapon limits are the bane of my existence
Used to play Final Fantasy, Quake, Micro Machines, Age of Empires and many others.
I hardly play games now though
sonygger => pcuck => xbot
Used to play nothing but platformers. Now it's one of my least favorite genres.
Nintoddler => Sonygger => Xbot For me.
Played a lot first party nintendo shit and a fuck ton of platformers.
Now I hate most platformers, and mostly play RPGs and weebshit. Also play a lot of shooters since I was disallowed from playing them for a long-ass time due to
>Muh video game violence
parents
Had tastes in any video-game as a kid.
Now my tastes didn't changed, i did. I probably have cancer. Had a good run though, too bad it ends up this early.
Used to play a lot more of racing games. Got bored of them because they're all the same shit.
The Sega genesis was my baby sitter.
I remember crying because of the stupid fucking jump puzzles on Landstalker.
The earliest game I remember beating was World of Illusion. The co op aspect of that game was way ahead of its time.
Also sewer shark on sega cd when I was tired getting my ass handed to me in Streets of Rage. I vaguely remember a few weeb circa early 90s qte games my mom picked up.
I remember when she randomly picked up Star Ocean for the playstation and the alternate storylines blew my mind.
I still only play console, since I never grew out of it.
I'm 29.
Started with platformers, then moved onto RPGs, dabbled in shooters for a little bit, then went back to RPGs.
cRPGs
They didn't.
Are you me? This is basically my entire life as well! Except maybe replace weebshit with adventure games.
>Nintentoddler essentials
>jRPGs
>PC mustard race
I still enjoy first party nintendo games, although not as much. NSMB Wii was only fun to play with friends. Now I only really play melee and normie PC games with my friends, and I occasionally get story-driven pc games that fancy me like the walking dead, deus ex, sleeping dogs, etc.
Well I liked platformers as kid, which I don't like (with only difference being first mirrors edge). Later and still now, I like fps and building/economy games, so tycoons, citybuilders etc.
But whole time, since I first played 3D game I love driving games. The only difference now is, that I won't touch game without licensed cars.
Started with platformers, went with fps and rpgs. found a comfy middle ground in action rpgs and character action games.
Sierra Fanboy>Sega Fanboy>Nintendo Fanboy
It's been a hard life for vidya.

Runescape > planetside 2 > trying something new > planetside 2
I have no idea how i can play thos game alone for so long
My tastes have stayed the exact same, surprisingly.
Why did KQ and LSL have to go to shit? I don't know exactly what it was about those games but I was just obsessed with them.
Used to play Dark Cloud non-stop as a kid. So much so that I even skipped out on a Halloween party my neighborhood was throwing.
Now I'm in love with card games and ARPGs.
Platformers
Fighting games
Now I prefer RPG and STALKER though I still play platformers and fighting games
>tfw you just want to play Master Computer
>Pokemon and Doom
>Tabletop games and Quake
Do you think it will ever come back?
