Every game in the series was made as a driect sequel or prequel to another game in the series that happen to follow a massive continuity. The only ones that followed something partially separate and were kind of shoehorned in were Four Swords, The Minish Cap, and Four Swords Adventures. Tri Force Heroes' plot doesn't really have anything to do with any of the other games either.

TP happens 100 years after OoT. Keep in mind that BoTW takes up 100 timeslot from Link's birth to his waking up so it can't be before TP it has to be after. Same applies for WW but it's not in that timeline.

It being between OoT ALttP is possible if this is OoT Link otherwise anywhere else in the timeline is also possible.

Ancient Sea ties more to SS considering there are also Ancient screws and other robot parts in BotW. So the Ancient Sea most likely ties to the desert area in SS rather than the Great Sea of WW.

That sea of WW was in Lanayru, in the desert, not the center of hyrule.

Not necesarrily, in BotW and SS the desert areas are pretty close to the Temple of Time area. Additionally The Coast is on the East with the Desert Being Inland so Southern Hyrule could have been part of the sea before it receded drying out the desert but leaving water for Lake Hylia.

Nintendo doesn't do jack to pander to the Hyrule Historia. Skyward Sword, A Link Between Worlds, Triforce Heroes all have contradicted it in one way or another, and there's a disclaimer at the end that basically says "This book is non-canon as far as we decide. We do what we want."

HH is the Other M of Zelda. An outlier that was made by a third-party company to fill Nintendo's pockets for a little extra Christmas shopping.

I accept that people are hyped for the game, I am too but so little of the game is known at this stage that a definitive answer to the OP isn't clear. All it breeds is unnecessary hype and in a lot of cases on Sup Forums can lead to disappointment.

It's all apart of a stable time loop, where Link in BotW is both the ultimate, 'final' Link, created to be the ultimate weapon against Ganondorf, and simultaneously, Hylia's original Champion, whom all the other Links are reincarnated from.
