Shill your levels, play shilled levels, discuss how shit SMM 3DS is
The one year anniversary of SMM is coming up on 9/11.
I believe the best way to celebrate this is to create 9/11 inspired levels. I know it's been done to death, but I know you fags are creative.
>Upload them on 9/11 >Give it an inconspicuous title and screenshot so it's not immediately taken down by Ninty >Post them in the One Year Anniversary SMM thread
To remind people, munchers crushing bob-ombs instantly cause them to explode. You can set a muncher on a track going from top to bottom to give it the look.
I'm about to go out, so I'll start my 9/11 tribute tonight. Good luck Sup Forums.

Oh the possibilities
I didn't know this, thanks

Haven't played in quite a while. I'll check your levels out in a few minutes. In the meantime, here are some of my old levels.
My biggest hurdle in Mario Maker is naming my levels. And that plays a huge role in getting star coins.
Grayson Bennett
I havent played since a month after launch, I cant remember / don't know how to do all the special shit in the creator. I bet there's a video or something out there detailing it.
That said, I totally want to make an NES adventure level for halloween. I fuckin love halloween.
Those clear rates don't exactly scream fair to me.

DELETE THIS THREAD. NOW.
Tyler Morales
>go through the thread >it's all stuff I played months and months ago When was the last time you made a new level?
Mason Lopez
>All good levels are from Germans, Italians and Americans
>Not a single good latin american one.

Bump for potentail
Nicholas Edwards
I enjoyed it, not sure what the spring by the checkpoint is for though.
Jeremiah Perry
You could do what Keyrock does if you make a really long puzzle level. Put the power ups in pipes instead of blocks so new ones will come out if you lose something. He does some neat mechanics too. I hope he makes more levels.
>Those clear rates don't exactly scream fair to me.
Fair as in: >No doors/pipes that lead to instant death >No hidden blocks meant to kill the player >No areas meant to trap player and make them start over >No secret cheese >No Panga/shell jump/blind jump stuff >Every level includes checkpoints and items
But yeah, not fair as in easy; definitely not that. Over half the plays have been from random people in hundred man looking for a quick win, so of course the clear rate is bad. That's fine though, these were meant to be "super expert" stages. The only reason why two haven't been listed as such is they don't have enough deaths yet. But they're all still very beatable.

Thnaks, user. I appreciate the feedback.

SA-Warudo: 4 dangerous saws chase you trough all the level. If they touch you, you will be gay forever. AND THERE IS NO CURE!!!
Sweets and Power Ups for Halloween: You must visit 4 houses to get some delicious candy. But be sure to have a nice disguise... OR YOU WILL BE GAY FOREVER
DaVinci 7 Stupid Secrets: Leonardo DaVinci was a massive faggot and he created this level with 7 (yeah SEVEN) puzzles that you must clear... Or you will be gay forever again
A little over a year ago, I discovered a rather creepy 9/11 level made by a Japanese person. You were running through the buildings as they were crumbling and breaking. And if I recall he added some creepy sounds to go with it.
I wish I had saved it, I would have shared it with all of you. All I can say is that it was a work of art.
Joseph Adams
If we would actually make threads and participate in them, I would be motivated to make more. As it is, I'm just sharing my levels with randoms. Not much incentive to create.
Christian Nelson
Just beat Halloween and Da Vinci. Good levels.
Evan Jackson
Honestly it would have been better if Super Mario Maker 3DS weas just advertised as a Mario Maker "App" for the 3DS instead of a port.
If they called it a tool you can use to port your current projects, play, and edit them before porting them back to your Wii U copy so you can share them, I think a lot more people would think this is "neat" instead of just downright pointless.
As it currently stands, MM3DS is more like a glorified demo of sorts, purposefully gimped as to not ruin one of the Wii U's biggest games.
Sebastian Sanchez
Just beat Boss Rush 1, liked it.
Mason Bailey
Ayyy whoever gave me a star thank you. Saves my level from being taken down.
Liam Parker
Colin was it? I'll be sure to play your levels when I'm done with work.
