Metroid with remakes
...
good one, too bad it became shit from there :(
Metroid Prime
Jak and Daxter
Halo 1-3
DKC3 brings the score of the series down a bit bit its still high teir.
Res 1 - 4
>Zero Mission
>AMR2
>Super Metroid
>Metroid Fusion
Yeah, you're pretty much set.
It ain't a trilogy tho.
>DKC3 brings the score of the series down a bit bit its still high teir.
I don't get this. DKC1 was horse shit compared to its sequels
Yeah, OP.

You were so close.
SMB2 USA seems to divide a lot of opinions, I personally love it.
But the first one isn't that great to be honest. It's a classic, sure, but it aged like milk when you put it next to SMB3 and World.
Mario 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy.
Jak 2 is bad.
RE1-3 are too similar. Being too similar, like OP's games, doesn't make a good trilogy.
>Jak 2 is bad
>Comparing the shitheap that was Mario 64 to actual masterpieces like Sunshine and Galaxy
Fucking 10/10 bait I actually got mad
>not liking comfy camp setting DKC3 with literal SMG-style genius gimmick level design EVERY level
kill yourself
Metal Gear Solid 1-3 was unbreakable.
>if games are too similar, it's shit
>if they are too different, it's shit
>DKC3 is 20 years old
You can have three perfectly good games that form a bad trilogy, for example, Mega Man 1, 2, and 3. They're too similar to make a dynamic and great trilogy that works off itself in a good way. A trilogy is more than three concurrent entries in the same series. You should be smart enough to know that if you're old enough to post here.
Jak 2 on the other hand is just a bad game and it's not because it decided to venture from Jak 1. In that regard, Sly Cooper is a much better trilogy.
Would you consider MGS a good trilogy?
