Is he right?

youtube.com/watch?v=coNQAucXoNM

No. He is a commie faggot.

His point seems to be that it's not okay that women in video games are sexualized even though most of the people who play said games are straight dudes, and sex sells.

Sex positive feminism being a thing is pretty much why being a "titninja" is empowering; it's essentially showing that women can be tough without having to repress their sexuality, and can fight while also being sexually active and liberated and such. Is he saying that women with big tits aren't allowed to do anything because guys might ogle at them? It's empowering because it teaches girls that they can be strong and independent while also be confident about their own bodies.

Hbomberguy in general is just a passive aggressive idiot who gets mad when people actually bother to call him out, the fact that people take him seriously is astounding. He's just another self-righteous idiot who thinks he's doing the world a favor. Move along.

Also if male characters had to go around all this it'd pretty much just be a debate on how small men's dicks are.

it's cringey how much he and his fans attempt to look clever and snarky

>Sex positive feminism being a thing is pretty much why being a "titninja" is empowering
not when the character itself has no reason for being a titninja in the first place
if it's not relevant to her personality, her job or the plot then she's just something for people to put on their weeb pillows

Does "sex positive feminism" means "woman who won't yell at me when she sees I play a game where I look at a 12 year old girl's ass"?

literally who the hell cares if you jerk off to video games

Most of the time it is relevant to one of those things, and even if it's not, who cares? Like I said, they're appealing to straight dudes who are the majority of players. Women have shit like Magic Mike and Twilight. Bayonetta's entire personality is being promiscuous.

No, the opposite actually.

>projecting

Games like Bayonetta aren't made for people looking for empowerment, they're games made for people that like cool combat systems and sexy characters.

Senran Kagura isn't made for people looking for empowerment, they're made for people that like to play as cute girls that get stripped during combat and waifu bait. These games have a fanbase and don't need to pander to people outside of said fanbase. Neptunia games keep getting made because people like those characters for reasons and there's enough demand for the games to keep coming out.

simplifying everything to power-fantasy and what not is fucking retarded. Niggas need to quit cutting corners just because that's the current "Issue". Unless you want to argue that a few years ago the only people who played video games only did so for the extreme violence.

what's the point of any street fighter character having their abs out and wearing shipped karate shirts?

it's a fucking video game, their designs are pretty much guaranteed to be retarded and not make sense

>women aren't allowed to wear anything revealing unless it lines up with their personality or job
Back to the burqa barn with you

>not when the character itself has no reason for being a titninja in the first place

what about girls with big boobs irl? they didnt choose to have them, theres no reason behind it.

>if it's not relevant to her personality, her job or the plot then she's just something for people to put on their weeb pillows

so chicks with big boobs arent as important as ones that have small ones?

youre as much of a big deal of this as they are.

Do male feminists actually know that women with big boobs exist in real life?

Yeah, it's extremely empowering to play a game in which your clothes get ripped off all the time and the camera zooms in like some softcore porno. It's totally pro-women and not jerk bait for Asian nerds, and Susan B. Anthony would rise from her grave and applaud Senran Kagura for its dedication to women's rights.

What is even the problem with having sexy characters? I don't get it, you don't see people bitching and moaning about all the men in Twilight movies ever having shirts on.

Why is that so bad?

Thoughts on this picture?

>maybe if im really sarcastic and snarky about my worthless opinion then people will agree with me
This isn't Something Awful. Are you lost?

Thoughts on this gif?

It's not. Free market and all that, people should be able to buy jerk bait. But calling it "empowering" is fucking embarrassing shit, just like how Kojima tried to play Quiet off as something super deep instead of just an appeal to his fetishes.

Why is this a big deal? They're fictional characters appealing to different demographics, that's it. Why are retards acting as if having sexy girls in video games is the end of the world?

Also Bomber boy is an uppity British faggot.

Thoughts?

not american, couldnt care less

Hmm? What did she mean by this?

Thoughts?

Holy shit, what a whiny fucking voice. Do people actually put up with this sound in their ears?

Hmm? Thinking about this atm...

There is no problem, that's my point. These games come out with a specific audience in mind, opinions on whatever audience that is aside.
Twilight sells because girls like super-special boyfriend fantasies that lead to super-special self insert fantasies. There's nothing wrong with that, but it's not in my taste so I don't buy Twilight novels.
I don't go out of my fucking way to try and censor Twilight novels. Maybe if there was a novel about an average joe having raunchy Vampire sex with some super hot vampire chick, I may look into it. But there's none I can think of.

If a game doesn't appeal to you, the answer is to just go "Oh okay, that game is not for me."

Men did not give a shit that Kratos was fucking bitches and being super muscular because they didn't think about it. Nobody is demanding that Kratos covers up and looks more average. The only reason why games like Bayonetta and Senran Kagura are being attacked is because the attackers want to be in control.

It's like those kids in high school or college that threaten and bark orders at people, or try to look intimidating by standing behind rules and regulations. It's called having an authority complex, you want to be in charge and have a say in everything but you don't want to apply yourself, so you attach to other things like a movement or an idea so you can maybe perhaps tell others what to do.

Jerk bait isn't inherently a bad thing, neither is women in video games being turned into sex objects. It's the same shit with the whole violence thing, most people know how to separate reality from fantasy.

I'm not gonna write an essay on how Quiet having big tits is empowering nor am I gonna make a 30 minute video on why it's absolutely a detriment to women's rights. What are people like Hbomber whatever even trying to get out of this? Brownie points?

What the fuck has that got to do with this thread?

>What are people like Hbomber whatever even trying to get out of this? Brownie points?

Piss off neckbeards?

just btfoing the sjw shills

>Thread starts with a topic regarding Big Breasted Ninja Girls
>Goes into Politics

Why?

what the fuck just happened?

He himself is a whiny British manchild so there really isn't much room to talk.

I never should've posted this video in that last thread if I had known it was going to be used to shitpost. I should've just ignored the thread.
HAVE I BECOME AN UNIRONIC SHITPOSTER?!

>play a game in which your clothes get ripped off all the time and the camera zooms in like some softcore porno
What fucking games have you been playing?

But aren't you a shill by doing so?

>Trying to explain the common knowledge to sjws

That's ain't going to work.

What's the common knowledge?

...

"i am VERY MAD about fictional female characters having bigger boobies then my mom. i am 34"

not an argument, you're literally shilling right now for no reason

next time i see a woman with B cups or bigger im gonna ask her what the point of having those is

being a shut-in must be fun

what do you mean by this

Sex positive feminism means "women that want to play with powerful sexy female characters to feel pretty and powerful", instead of the "women that get offended and menaced by a character can be better than her in any aspect" as the sexnegs are.

I've talked to a few girls who were actually really into Kill la Kill when it was airing and who wanted to be like Satsuki and Ryuko. They legitimately DID see it as empowering.

I'll try to be rational as much as I can.

Well to be fair he is kind of right on one thing. He is just saying that the sexy women characters aren't empowering to women the same way as Kratos is to male, which I believe it's true, but at the same thing, he never said it was a bad thing. He just said that its a thing that is, and it's true that there aren't much equivalent to Kratos in female version (although I'm not sure if the female audience would want that anyway). But like you said, video games grew with a mostly straight male audience, so it is normal to have some nice qt to look at. He didn't bash those characters, he just said "well, it's not really what the women want" which is kind of right.

He was being a bitch with his passive aggressive attitude tho, and kind of used some strawmen and generalizations when referring to people complaining about censorship to some games and claiming they were the same complaining about that final fantasy too sexy stuff.

Overall, he made a good initial point, but didn't bring any solutions , and used too many fallacies.

I don't get why some sexy/built woman being an over the top badass is sexist but some sexy/built man being an over the top badass is some sort of power fantasy fulfillment. It's the same exact shit, just gender swapped.

No, not every man wants to be some ripped murder machine. Yes, some women would love to be able to freely beat the shit out of men while looking hot as fuck. Yeah, hot girls give guys boners. Yeah, girls like good looking girls too.

People like to throw around that "half of gamers are girls" shit, but if there are that many gamer girls already there not much reason to try and bend over backwards to appeal to them. A girl is going to be happy with a simple gender option, that's all you have to do. Simple enough and everyone wins.

This beautiful, YOUNG titninja is my wife and I love her very much.

I don't even care to watch the video. Fuck off.

That tittyninjas are great and doesn't harm anybody.

Thanks.

I hope you're investing in special attack and speed, because clinton is not a good wall.

How do you know sexy women aren't empowering to women the same way Kratos is to men? Are you a woman?

You could say something similar to the rise of black characters getting introduced to games and other forms of media these days whose only real defining trait is that they are black.

Most people are annoyed by this because its hamfisted and lazy character design. Generally people don't care if a character is black if he is a character in his own right outside of his being black. Every detail about someone doesn't have to be integral to who they are and what their role is. If anything its more appreciated when there are little details about characters you can learn about them that have no direct bearing on the game or overall plot because it makes them feel like they have more depth.

>sexy women characters aren't empowering to women the same way as Kratos is to male
There are women out there who do feel empowered by it, but in the sense of being like Kratos without the blood and gore and such. There's been a lot more surrounding female sexuality and how restrictive it is through history, so women seeing Quiet and going "I like that!" isn't too surprising.

He made a few good points but everything else was whiny garbage hidden beneath passive aggressive sarcasm.

>He is just saying that the sexy women characters aren't empowering to women the same way as Kratos is to male
I don't think that is true.
But even if for the sake of this argument just assume that is true how is this a problem then?

No
That faggot is slutshaming those woman that does not exist

There's nothing wrong with it.
Personally, I don't like sexualization in the forms of Senran Kagura because I find it ridiculously retarded when they're moaning like cats when getting stripped.
That's just the way Japs work with their weirdness, but I like Bayonetta because when she's sexualized she looks like she enjoys it and it's sometime played for laughs. Though the same could be said for Sen. Kagura, but it's more along the lines of embarrassing imo.
Not gonna' bash anyone that likes it either.

They kind of are different, though. It's not exactly the same thing.

They did it in sands of time and i felt like a badass

What's the point of people IRL being black and/or having big boobs?

I know based on the data I currently have. Most women I heard about the subject don't particularity like to play those kind of character. I might be wrong though.

Yup, I think the same mostly.

Like I said in my post, I personally don't believe that its a problem at all, and I also believe its not for the author of the video. he was simply rebutting the argument that all the sexy women characters are empowering for women, while it's not true for all the sexy women characters. He didn't said it was good or bad. Whether you agree or not with his rebuttal is another story.
