Theoretical FPS Map

let's play a game. let's say pic related is the center of a capture the point map in the last FPS you played, or your current favorite FPS. the blue block represents approximate player size, for scale. assume it's open fields surrounding it on either side with respawn rooms not too far off.

applied to the game you're thinking of, what strategies might you use? if it's class-based, what classes benefit? what loadouts would be the best?

show me your shooter theory, Sup Forums

That's a really really stupid design

it's pretty small, youre generic meele or close quarters class/weapon would work
the desing is pretty bad too

That's fucking awful

OP what is this thread really fucking about

Lob grenades into the center2win.

Too much of a clusterfuck, it's way too small if the blue represents player size.

That's small as fuck. Smaller than an arena shooter. If this is from some sort of game you are making,OP, look at doom maps for good examples.

Get a class that can reach the roofs and just pick people off and hiding from the capture point

>help I told my friends I could make videogames but I have no idea what I'm doing

>blue block represents approximate player size
So the map is fucking tiny?

>pic related is the center of a capture the point map

You need to be 18 to post here. Come back when you have learnt reading comprehension.

...

Post the whole thing then fagmaster. For all we know the rest could be total garbage.

I'm not OP, I just want you underage fags to leave

Oh sorry your majesty. I will take my leave now.
Faggot

>asymmetrical; unbalanced
>capture point is a pit you can just lob grenades into
>very little 'low cover'
0/10 its shit

me on the right until i realized that making maps for source games is just a good way to get bullied that that having hobbies is just going to lead to depression and eventual suicide

isn't this some shit from agdg that people sperg over

yes

well fuck you then

>try to make maps for games
>think they're not bad
>everyone spergs out about them and calls them shit and even hits me up on steam at night just to remind me

>op makes one tiny piece of a map
>it is objectively not good and succumbing to many rookie mistakes
>op is probably gonna be praised forever for it now

im gonna go throw some bottles into traffic or something brb
