"Kirby has no bad games."

>"Kirby has no bad games."

Amazing Mirror is pretty boring

I think Dreamland 2 is really underrated.

le Epic Yarn ex-dee

Name one actually bad Kirby game.

True but it hasn't had any "Why does this exist?" tier games like Universal Gravitation or Star Fox Command yet.

Probably because they don;t outsource Kirby at all save for that Goodfeel game.

Squeak Squad is short, but not bad.
There.

>challenge is problematic and only tryhards want it
>games should be about feeling "comfy" than requiring skill

Squeak Squad is one of my favorite Kirby games. But yeah it's too short.

>people always view this as some sort of dichotomy

Comfy games can be good
Challenging games can be good
One is not inherently better than the other

I can watch a comfy game on youtube and not miss a single thing, since my interaction is only there as a means to progress the "story" or "Feel good nature", which a video will do automatically for me.

Wat?
This. Challenge is important but it isn't the end all, be all.

On the flipside, Kirby games these days are mediocre. I tried Robobot and just gave up because it was just playing everything so safe. Absolutely zero risk was taken in that game whatsoever, design-wise.

Comfy is a word people use to describe games that aren't actually mechanically good. Strip away the graphics and sound, and all that's left is a shitty game.

You're just asking for autistic Kirbyfags to throw a fit. They like pretending they're one of the lesser autistic Nintendo fanbases but you literally can't say a single bad thing about Kirby around them.

...

I'll fight you

>tries to shitpost about Kirby
Typical Zelda/Mariofags.

The only Kirby game I didn't really like was Canvas Curse, it was annoying to tap on Kirby over and over to get him to move.

F-Zero has no bad games.

it brought back power mixing. it's a shame though, i used my fucken fire sword to rape everything then i realized that the game was over.

But it's true.

No it isn't. A game with poor mechanics would jot be comfy, because it would not put you into a relaxed yet entertained state. Kirby's comfiness is reliant on the core gameplay and controls being permissive of that

It's true though. Bad isn't the same thing as mediocre.

Kirby's Block Ball.
Ha ha, got em
But really, most, if not all, of the other Kirby games are great.

>Implying Kirby's Block Ball is bad
It's far from my favorite but it certainly isn't bad. It has some interesting mechanics with normal block ball gameplay by turning Kirby from a ball into his normal size & copy abilities keep things interesting.

>Kirby's Block Ball
I liked it.

I'm not gay, but why is Nathan Drake so handsome?

Animal Crossing is a game that is mechanically incredibly weak. This isn't a bad thing because Animal Crossing isn't based on action, and it's goal is to put you in a relaxed state.

Kirby is an action platformer. The last 3 kirby games haven't explored any interesting concepts. They have good sound, graphics, and control responsively. The actual design of the games are fucking amateur hour and they're the equivalent of the NSMB series.

>watching someone solve a puzzle is the same as solving a puzzle

Not the user you've replied, but there are differences between the last 3 Kirby games.

Returns to Dreamland have you control Super Abilities, which in it's own can be brain dead easy to use. However by the end of every Super Ability run, there is always an option for you to do an extra challenge via Another Dimension run. Those levels can be tricky if your up to it. There is also the EX mode for those levels as well. Plus there are Copy Room abilities for you to master as well.

Triple Deluxe and Planet Robobot has foreground and background obstacles plus new items and abilities. Hypernova was fun first time using it, but after some replays it loses it's charms quick. However the Robobot Armor actually is a great replacement from both supers since it actually expands on Kirby's copy ability, and it's optional if you choose to ignore it. There is an unlockable EX stage by the end of every world and it's does get pretty tricky in later parts of the game. Plus the 3D works really well too, and there are differences from RtDL, ableit some abilites got nerfed while other have some more additional moves.

I understand if you don't like the games or if it's not really you're cup of tea, but there is creativity and differences between the games from bosses, to the designs, and to the abilities you control.

Canvas Curse.

It's pretty but it plays like a fucking flash game. Shit abilities, no gameplay variety, one boss in the entire game

Epic Yarn isn't really a kirby game and the aesthetic wore quickly on me. Honestly I don't really like any of Good Feel's games so w/e.

Squeak Squad is the easiest kirby game and it just has no soul to it. Feels like it was cranked out in an afternoon and sold for full-price.
