How many times did it take you to beat him?
How many times did it take you to beat him?
Once because girl games are easy as fuck. If you didn't you should probably stick to reading books or something.
1 because I don't do degenerate genocide runs
>I beat him the first time
>I don't do genocide runs
What?
...
30 or so
Great boss battle
I didn't.
I'm lazy.
Well done sans.
>There are people in this thread who used to love this game, but now hate it because other people started enjoying it
You also have to fight him in a normal run.
Though I guess that's not really "beating" him.
You never fight Sans in a normal run.
Really? I should play Undertale again because apparently I'm retarded.
It's okay, user.
I can't even beat the fish.
Are you having trouble with her undying form?
took me long, but I did it.
felt good.
IT'S A BEAUTIFUL DAY OUTSIDE
A handful of times. I knew to equip the items that make you invulnerable longer cause of comments from -V-.
As a 90's kids that grew up playing schumps, Undertale was e Z p Z.
10 times.
>mfw people took upwards of 60+
16
But after I beat him I was able to beat him 3 more times in 1-2 attempts
Once the tricks are learned its super easy
Who here doing a replay on the 15th?
Are you gonna do runs you haven't done before or are you gonna just play the way you did last time?
why would I replay undertale?
The birds are singing--
Flowers are blooming
Fifteen. It was the most fun I had with the game. I reset afterward since I didn't want to destroy the world, just beat Sans.
On days like these.
Kids like you
At least 40.
I didn't have an easy time.
Kids with no necks
*GASP*
iirc 13. I used dog salad.
I dunno, it's just that its its one year anniversary.
The whole "IF YOU RESTART EVERYONE WILL BE RIPPED FROM THIS TIMELINE!" thing doesn't really bother me anymore.
I didn't really keep count, but probably somewhere around 40.
Should be burning in hell.
This entire video is a reaction image goldmine
>tfw I literally couldn't beat Sans
>tfw I gave up after dozens of attempts
...
...
>get sis to play the game
>gets super into it
>"I'll never do a genocide run, I'll never reset the game, it's perfect"
>calls me several months later
>"hey I need some help, I'm trying to beat Sans"
Damn. It took me about 27.
20 or so. Probably shouldn't have done it at night since I was getting punch drunk but I needed to sort that emo piece of shit out that evening.
>How many times did it take you to beat him?
About a dozen times all up.
After the first two deaths I reset the game and prepped myself up for it properly because I had no good items left as I carelessly wasted many on Undyne. (sea tea/pie/noodles/etc.)
I made it to his very final attack 3 times before beating him. One time I literally died at the very last possible moment. That was aggravating.
Great boss fight though. I usually beat him first time now if I try, maybe 50-60% of the time. Having the right items makes a world of difference.
I see why everyone thinks Genocide mode is so sad! It's half finished!
I only did a run where I killed the bosses and let Annoying Dog rule
It's been a while but I think about 15-20
Took me about 6 tries
...
...
EAAAAAAAAAUGH
No, I remember there being a joke battle if you talk to him somewhere. His examine prompt says something like "He's literally the weakest enemy in the game."
>His examine prompt says something like "He's literally the weakest enemy in the game."
That's roughly what his prompt says in the real battle. The only 'joke battles' are fanmade.
I don't even know what game that's from.
Is it Undertale?
youtube.com
>ASGORE breaks the MERCY button
Best moment in the entire game "You're blue now" is second best
...
what about pic related?
About 40. It wasn't really difficult mechanically, seemed like memorizing the patterns of the different attacks was the key to victory.
It's definitely up there. I'm so glad I didn't have Omega Flowey spoiled for me, it's such an insane reveal
I never beat him. I fought him like 20 times and then gave up. Its not worth it. His fight gets boring after a while since he does the exact same moves in the exact same order.
The real key to victory is having the right item prep, using the 'spare time' to heal up and use Sea Tea, and knowing that you can cheese his telekenesis attack by holding UDLR all at once.
(You)
I remember seeing it and flipping the fuck out, then I went to a Sup Forums thread and another user was also flipping the fuck out, and we used each other as emotional support and beat it together in that thread. I'm sure that sounds gay but goddamn was that first week after Undertale's release some of the most fun I've had on Sup Forums.
0. Did not fall for the No Mercy Meme.
Being on Sup Forums when we first discovered all the Gaster stuff was magical
It's called a genocide run, tumblr, I don't care if the word hurts your feelings.
2 weeks, played for like 1-2 hours every day after getting home from work
Undertale/JoJo
Is there more?
Are there any fangames besides Red that are any good?
11 times, afterwards I killed him 12 times in a row. I wish the rest of the game had fights like him.
I'd mock you for taking that long but I think it's good that you made the decision to practice and git gud regardless of how long it took, instead of just giving up. Good for you, man.
Probably a ton by now, but I stopped looking for Undertale fanart shortly after the game's release because of how rapidly the fanbase turned to shit, so I mostly just have what I saved during the first couple weeks.
I watched a lot of him online.
3. It took me 3 times. It took me 4 for Undyne.
You are a smart poster, clearly you must be.
And this is the only other one I can find in my small folder of Undertale images.
Determination Encore is pretty good
>I knew to equip the items that make you invulnerable longer cause of comments from -V-.
Except for the fact that one of the things that makes Sans difficult is that you get ZERO invincibility frames. Every millisecond you're inside any of his attacks you;re taking damage.
None.
People who do genocide are heartless faggots.
Dreemurr Reborn is something I never touched, but someone I respect worked on it, and claims it's good.
Not a game, but Soulful Asriel is the closest thing to an interactive fan sequel that IN MY OPINION captures the tone of the game.
0. I don't hurt my amigos, friendo. :^)
Around 30. I streamed it and still have the recording.
Dreemur Reborn's game isn't done yet. It's still being worked on because coding is hard
They made a kickass Chara battle animation though youtube.com
I did 4.
For science.
Thanks user, both for your words and the images. Undyne was also hell, but surprisingly I beat her quicker than sans. The most infuriating thing was that I had only 1 tea, so I would get really good at the first half of the fight and then my heart just did not have enough speed.
Still, one of the most fun fights I had in a while
About 25 I think? It's been a really long time since a boss in a video game made me try so much.
Around 18 to 24. I'm really bat at bullet hell type games and in my opinion he isn't difficult. It all comes down to memory. Undyne was fucking torture for me though. He 2nd faze where she circles around you with arrows was a bitch.
Okay, but then again as I said I did not check it myself.
>arrows
THOSE ARE SPEARS YOU FUCKING MEGA WUSS
>Yellow spears
I had no trouble at all with all of Undying's normal attacks but the lockdown DDR parts fucked me up bad.
Has anyone clicked "do not" at the end of the vid?
...
people who integrate all this dumb dialogue shit into every attack make me want to kill themselves
almost every other battle in the game isn't like that except the sans and papyrus fights
stop being so fucking edgy
Speaking of DDR...
Which video?
I've never played the game and now it is spoiled for me so I maybe never will
How many times...........
The poster of content is almost never the creator of said content.
...
Took me about 80 tries. Kept a counter because I'm autistic. Didn't spoil it for myself though so I kept dying at each successive new part of the battle I attained
Way too many, and even after I beat him I still never went through entirely with the run.
It's part of a series. Watch the first two first
