Where were you when Igatards got BTFO and Bloodstained went on its way to becoming Mn9 2.0?
BLOODSTAINED DELAY INCOMING
Half-Genie Hero got delayed far more times and for far longer than MN9 and it's shaping up to be great.
You're hours late.
Besides, I'm fine with the delay. I've been waiting way the fuck longer for Torment, and that game's looking really good.
It's better that they delay it to work on it than they release it and promise to fix it with patches.
context is key.
MN9 was basically done a year ago, but they used the delay to implement unwanted online features.
>Implying Mighty Number 9's issue was delays
Mighty Number 9's issue was that it was shit. Bloodstain's already released Demo is already better than the finished product of Mighty Number 9.
Howdy! My name is Kenichi Smith.
I'm a 27 year old Japanese Toonaholic (Cartoon fan for you foreigners). I draw cartoons and comics on my tablet, and spend my days perfecting my art and playing superior American games. (Halo, Gears of War, Call of Duty)
I train with my 1911 every day, this superior weapon can shoot straight through steel because it kicks ass, and is vastly superior to any other weapon on earth. I earned my gun license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day.
I speak English fluently, both the Midwestern and the East Coast accents, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about American history and their Constitution, which I follow 100%
When I get my American visa, I am moving to New York to attend a prestigious High School to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become an animator for Nickelodeon or a game designer!
I own several cowboy outfits, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to America, so I can fit in easier. I keep cool to my elders and seniors and speak English as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond.
Wish me luck in America!
Iga is gonna turn out to be a bigger conman than Inafune.
Saw it coming miles and miles away.
They have had so fucking slow progress.
The demo was basically OK, but nothing to write home about, so I'm still skeptical to the whole thing, tbqh
Not a single Shantae game has ever been more than half-decent.
Almost every single Castlevania game has been 8-10/10.
Incomparable as fuck.
>Not a single Shantae game has ever been more than half-decent.
Here's your (You)
Just because you can wank to it doesn't mean it's good, user.
>Ever, at any point, for any game, from any developer or publisher actually expecting original release dates to occur
Are you negroids this retarded? Surely you can't be. Basically every game gets delayed now.
no i didn't back this game and I think SOTN was good but overrated
SotN is highly regarded because it has a good amount of superfluous content, due to a slow-cook development process.
I thought the RPG elements ruined the difficulty level, and I strongly disliked the inverted castle since it's basically the point where it's clear that the game has no environment variety. Super Metroid is much better imho, though SotN has some pretty welcome refinements in areas; like the map screen being more quickly accessed and the teleportation mechanic.
I'd be cool if we got that in Bloodstained as well, it was part of what gave SotN such personality and charm. I'd like if for what's basically trying to be SotN2 +_OoE + AoS
SotN is highly regarded because it established a new genre and did it pretty well, with nice visuals and lots of fluff.
It is, however, the shittiest metroidvania Castlevania, with Dawn of Sorrow/Order of Ecclesia being the pinnacle of said genre.
I don't think anyone ever praised SotN for its difficulty, it's the easiest IGAvania game. A lot of the later games could still be difficult even if you did grind.
Kickstarter for Bloodstained took place in June, July of 2015.
If the game is released in January 2018, it will have had a 2 and a half year dev cycle. Which is normal to fast for a video game starting from zero but using a commercial engine.
If you think this game should have come out in less than two year, you're crazy. Look at the stuff promised in the kickstarter. There's a lot more to this than just a single player campaign.
I would be fine with this game releasing up to Q1 2019.
Never said they did, but that was one of the things that rendered it not that great for me.
never trust KS dev .
capped so i can laugh at you later
that includes the rushed mess that were ds games?
megaman has been going downhill for a while (which got reflected by mn9), but by your own admission even the most recent iga games are at least 8.
>delayed
it begins
it hasnt even been 2 years since the games announcement.
also have they even given out a release date in the first place? how can there be a delay when there wasnt even a set release date?
A RUSHED GAME IS FOREVER BAD MY NIGGA
that demo they put out was already of a better quality than MN9 at launch. If they're spending another year working on it, I can only imagine it'll be a damn fine game upon release
that nigga looks like an asian Tom Six
That's fine because the game actually already made some good progress.
Good luck in Japan, Mr. Smith!
b-but muh TORtanic
>Incomparable as fuck.
Oh, but MN9 and Bloodstained are, because they both got delayed?
You are a hypocrite.
HELLO DARKNESS MY OLD FRIEND
He had to rush development and cut stuff from his games when he worked at Konami, it doesn't surprise me that he wants to take his time with his own project.
>taking longer to make a game
>ADDING development staff instead of cutting back
what the fuck is wrong with that?
