It's kind of different. Whilst Skyrim was really shit, it was still enjoyable. Same with Fallout 3 and Oblivion. Fallout 4 is a new tier of shit, the kind which has no depth or any reason for you to play after the disappointing main story.

was the season pass only 20 at launch? i bought it then as well. if so then i don't feel TOO bad about the shitty dlc for this game. Far Harbor was ok but the rest has been mediocre.

I never understood what the problem with skyrim is.
I know Sup Forums is always shitting on it, but I just started replaying it 2 days ago. I am LOOKING for flaws. The only one I know of that actually annoys me, is that if the player is a Khajit, they can walk right into holds.
I understand the whole war seeming underwhelming, but I don't think there's much more they could've done with it. And as for the stormcloaks happily accepting the player as a member even if they aren't a Nord seems, kinda irrelevant, since I'd like the fucking dragonborn on my side regardless of race.
The college of winterhold is pretty shit. I have no excuse for that one.
The story seems solid enough for me so far. No major plot holes. And I'm looking very hard for them, since I never payed attention when I first played.

It's extremely repetitive and just plain boring. I don't think I even managed 50 hours altogether.
Like I said, it was shit but it was enjoyable. At this point I'm trying to avoid the word fun, most games from Daggerfall to Skyrim from Bethesda was actually fun but at the same time, they were just about as shit.
Skyrim was good. Don't know, the thing I like about it the most was that it was easy to get into and had the utmost comfiest atmosphere and music. Really sucked you into that part of Tamriel. Not gonna deny though, compare the RP to Morrowind and you feel betrayed.

It is fine but oblivion quests (main and faction quests) were much better. Also things like anti-climactic dragon fights, clunky ui, some 2003 graphics in a 2011 game etc.

Everytime with oblivion fags. The houses quests from Morrowind were more interesting than that. At least with them you can't 100% the game with one character, and it's a MUCH more interesting story and world building.

I loved the romance in Skyrim, it was so comfy.
there wasn't much to it except wearing an amulet and getting a little ceremony. As per usual they took the barebones of a gameplay element and then left them there for modders to improve on.

You're forgetting the countless quests that send you back to the commonwealth to do the same shit you did before but with the added bonus of making everyone hostile and the first mission (the gauntlet) being a reskin of the car park oposite the hospital in the main game.
That being said i did get an instigating cutlass from the disciples that is now my goto melee weapon.
