Just look at this 4k screenshot from a PS4 exclusive, what a time to be alive!

you better hide from the pcucks
it's a bullshot
I still play most my games at 720. What's the meme in this screenshot?
>zombie survival games
Wew, a breath of fresh air amongst all the samey shit at last.
what do you mean? The market is infested by them
That's some neat upscaling that doesn't look like native 4K at all.
14 yr olds can't sarcasm
why the fuck does it look ever so slightly blurry?
>mansex club
lel
lol I thought it was some dayz fan saying that

Image scaling is such a wonderful thing.
...
Soniggers will buy Any fucking turd when Sony shines it enough
So I understand correctly that due to the way they upscale 2x 1080p they will never be able to create actual straight, sharp lines since they will always be slightly blurred, right?
What does that mean for pixelart?
Nobody knows until we see pixelart games made for 4k.
Also fuck that shitty-ass view distance, there no point to having a better video card when the rest of the system sucks dick.
If the new GPU can't render pixel shit at 4k then you shouldn't even be talking about this shit company.
the issue is not rendering at 4K, it doesn't even do that with 3D
the issue is the way they scale the image to a 4K screen, which creates a blur between neighboring pixels
so if you have a straight line or "jaggies" those would be slightly blurred similar to how simple anti-aliasing gets rid of "jaggies"
but with pixelart you're depending on the system not to blur your pixels in order to have sharp images, which upscaling to 2x1080p to 4K does
Have you people not learned your lessons?
Are you going to fall for bullshots forever?
Would probably end up like HQx filters on emulators.
this is pretty much what I'm worried about, yeah
and the same thing is happening with 3D, except that it's not as glaringly obvious as with straght pixelart lines
and it will run at 15 fps
Didn't The Order 1886 massively underperform?
it underperformed as an acceptable video game
>using screenshots of games and consoles that aren't even out as evidence
The frames seem right though.
Something seems a bit off.
