It's an Agent 47 goes to the U.S for his mission episode

>it's an Agent 47 goes to the U.S for his mission episode

>seasons
>episodes
This isn't a fucking TV show, SE, why can't you finish the game before releasing it instead of saddling us with this crap that does nothing but benefit you, the publisher? Drugs Ex has a cash shop and now they're trying to push this "service model" episodic bullshit.

Who the fuck still gives a shit about HItman?

A lot of people. Hitman is one of my favorite series ever and this season has been nothing short of fantastic.

I used to feel like you user. I hated what they had done to one my favorite series. Then a friend gifted me the intro pack, and it's now my second favorite entry under Blood Money.

HITMAN 2016 is not just good, it's fucking fantastic. Each level is incredibly well done, and is brimming with technology. While I'm not supportive of every game and their mother going episodic, hitman was the perfect series to do it and is a shining example on how to do it right.

...

>IO Interactive is still being very cagey about where the seventh and final episode will take place. My theory is that it will add new stuff to the previous six locations.
they already confirmed long ago that the bonus missions in sapienza, paris and morocco count as a "7th" episode. japan is the finale.

I'd be OK with this.

The two bonus missions you get from having the season pass on PS4 make Sapenzia and Marrakesh feel like totally different maps.

Honestly I prefer it.
Less lackluster levels, game doesn't get bogged down by story, shorter waits for new content rather than 5 years for something you don't want like Absolution. Plenty more challenges and methods to kill and side assassinations.

It really benefits Hitman.
Smartest move SE has made in a while.

New Hitman is a really fucking great game. You don't wanna miss out on the Italy map, user. Trust me.

I want a Paris at night mission.

The last episode is taking place in Japan.

It's on the official website

What the fuck is wrong with you?

>the bad guys are bad for exercising their second-amendment rights

47's targets ≠ bad guys

>the assassin for hire only kills good guys
What the fuck are you on about nigger?

The 3rd bonus mission is probably Paris. There was a glitch that unlocked several debug items and one of these items was the Eiffel tower souvenir and Eiffel Tower shaped knife.

>playing sjwman

no thank you

Fuck off shill.

>IF YOU THINK THIS GAME IS GOOD, YOU'RE A SHILL
You have to go back. Reddit misses you.

?

I'm genuinely curious on how the fuck you got SJW out of this game.

>Eiffel Tower shaped knife

what a stupid thing to put in

They exist...

forerunner technology

You only kill white men. IO is danish, go figure.

it's just useless is all, how many knives do we bloody well need?

47 kills whoever. Good guys, bad guys, it doesn't matter. I mean, if 47 was a good guy I might be buttblasted, but even as a 2A fundamentalist I acknowledge that a lot of militias are just circle-jerking assholes.

Is this game any good? The episodic format puts me off, given the whole money aspect.

Hokkaido is the final episode.

My bad, dont spank me daddy

>First levels villain is female
>SJW

What

How the fuck can a full price Hitman game be seven missions long?

That's like a final fantasy you finish in ten hours.

GTA V only has one level

11 missions

2. Los Santos and North Yankton

7 main missions, 2 tutorial missions, 3 bonus missions, 12 overall

As person who's first hitman was 2, this game is fantastic. I was dicey about the episodic format, but goddamn the level design and opportunities are just so good.

12 total actually. And the challenges/escalation/online contracts add hours of replayability on each one of those 12.

So just wait until the whole game is released and buy it then. How does this negatively affect you?

Yeah but the game is so short and Season 2 will cost another $60.

Not to mention gunplay and loadout are pretty weak. Instead of giving the player some simple guns and then awarding customization items like sights, buttstocks, foregrips and slides for the hardballer, they give a bunch of generic weapons that are literally a copy of each other but with tacky paint. The next gun unlock for this Colorado level is a semi-auto assault rifle. I've complained so much in those surveys about not having semi-auto that they apparently read my complaints, but selective fire mode should've an option for all automatic weapons, not a single specific gun having semi-auto. Now when the player grab a G2 from some bodyguard, the player still stuck with the crappy inaccurate forced burst.

6 main missions.

>episode 5

Stop spreading this misinformation. The fact of the matter is that the game is unfinished. It's Beta version 0.XX.

See

T.SaltyPoorfag

I'm not disagreeing with that guy. Calling it an expansion is misinformation. The game is unfinished.

You're the first person in this thread to use the word expansion.

Only person calling it an expansion is you, in this post.

Calling it unfinished is bullshit too.

It's an episodic title. It releases in episodes. This has been the case since it was announced. A different type of development cycle does not necessitate it being unfinished.

Episodic updates*

It's unfinished

>different type of development cycle

Different approach to advertising you mean

Episodic games have existed for well over a decade now. Do you complain every time one comes out? Why does the concept bother you feel the need to inject your little passive-aggressive semantics bullshit into a thread about this game?

Damn that's some nice autism.

Face it, you don't like the episodic style so you're going to take every chance you can to shitpost about it being unfinished.

Youre loss user, the game is fucking fantastic and is the second best hitman after blood money. I'll be over here enjoying vidya while you shitpost because it's not coming out in your proffered style.

the steam page says episodes 1-7, so 7.

I'll just wait for it to release

No need to get so angry

7th location is Japan. The two reworked locations (Sapienza and Marrakech) were episode 4.

>The two reworked locations (Sapienza and Marrakech) were episode 4.
no.

>I'll just wait for it to release and make sure to tell everyone in every thread I see about the game why

I picked up the full game and I'm happy with it, not as good as Blood Money because it doesn't have nearly as many levels, but the maps are huge and loads of opportunities to take out targets.

>I was just pretending to be retarded!
No. Fuck off.

They should never have made the tutorial missions on training grounds, ruins the entire ambiance and doesn't make any sense.

7th is the 3 bonus missions.

>Colorado

Let's get this shit out of the way and move onto japan already.

So I'm right that it's way shorter than Hitman usually is?

...

I've got a good 17 hours in it and I am not a completionist in any sense of the word.

I've played 165 hours so far and I haven't even played the bonus missions yet

Isn't this like 60 hours per map?

What am I missing here.

if that were true they would show up as separate dlcs, but they're not. Bangkok is labeled as 'episode 4'.

Mostly Paris and Sapienza, I didn't like Marrakesh and haven't had much time to play Bangkok.

>What am I missing here.
fun

That's because consoles are cancer and they couldn't release them properly yet. Believe what you want, I know I'm right.

Wow rude

when all the seasons are complete this game will be GOAT

But thats like, 2 years down the line

I hope that in Episode 8 47 is tasked to kill a male, white/orange, blonde-ish presidential candidate.
It would be great, THE greatest and most difficult assignment. Heck, it would deserve multiple episodes just to make it fit.
>have to first infiltrate in various government organizations to get a way in
>then go past the Secret Services and the private security force
>then exfiltrate to another country

Day one buy if this becomes real

yeah, but while marrakesh's was an improvement on the original, sapienza's bonus mission is literally the worst in the game.

also every season pass got those bonus missions, not just the PS4.

really I'm just the most disappointed by the fact that they've confirmed they will not re-release elusives once the season is over.

So there's a lot of shit here about season passes and exclusives, if I want to play this what should I actually buy.

For PC.

Full Experience

We already had a politician (vice president) in Blood Money.

Presidential candidate would be a step down. As cathartic as it would be to assassinate a Trump stand-in.

user they have literally confirmed that the 3 bonus missions combined constitute the seventh episode

you're setting yourself up for a disappointment.

>Shooting your way through the levels.

I'd recommend a game called Call of Duty for you, my man.

I don't think so. Fewer levels, but levels are way bigger and have more opportunities than previous games.
