From ANY Mario Party game
Favorite mini game
LOL
I knew this was going to happen
But seriously favorite mini game?
Running of the Bulb or Bumper Balls.
>500x364
Shell Shocked or Hexagon Heat
Bowser's Big Blast.
Only MP pic I had
>Completely chance minigame
No thanks
bumper balls
the one on the wii where you cut the ropes
Mario Mechs from Mario Party 5, shit gets heated.
Or if you like fun (chance), there's Get A Rope.
>Mario Party is Kaiji
Never thought of it that way
The "throwing objects at your friend who just stole your star" mini-game.
>Hexagon Heat
Good fucking choice.
Mushroom Mix-Up (MP1)
Hexagon Heat (MP2)
Eatza Pizza (MP3)
Booksquirm (MP4)
What Goes Up... (MP6)
I liked Pushy Penguins quite a bit
Also that tetris style mini game, grabbing blocks off the conveyor belt, can't remember the name
Fish Upon a Star from MP5
ZAWA
I dont want to be an epic memester but honestly that last panel is really not needed
Grab Bag
Never seen a room with so much energy as people fighting in Grab Bag
Why was Hexagon Heat so fun?
I always liked this one and key-pa-way because they made me feel like I had friends.
Literally every single one on the DS version.
>Picking your character's color whenever possible
>Picking the same as the loser of the last round
>Picking Pink ever
And you wonder why you keep losing.
The boat paddling one that destroyed my N64 joysticks
>Played Mario Party 2 at a hotel with some friends
>TV was shitty and the game was in black and white because it didn't properly support RCA jacks or whatever
>The minigame to jump on colored platforms as Toad holds colored flags up came up
Booksquirm. Pushing people just outside to get flattened always amused me.
Fuck man, I remember that one. That was great
That's some hardcore shit right there.
Everyone shut the FUCK up and listen
Why does no one stream Mario Retardy anymore?
Banned
I grew up playing Mario Party starting with the first one and playing every one since. My favorite minigames from the old ones are Hexagon Heat and Bowser's Big Blast (and clones) but for some reason my favorite of all time and the most nostalgic for me is MEMORY LANE from 6.
And objectively it's a bad minigame too. Total piece of shit. But I love it and it gives me an insane nostalgic feeling for a reason I just don't understand.
Why?
I am not a popular streamer but I blindfolded myself once and played blind mario party against easy CPUs to see if I could win at all. I streamed it too but only like 6 people watched.
I came in 3rd. Wario won. I did win a surprising amount of minigames blind.
Day at the races
Slot Car Derby
Bowser's Big blast
the tank one
Chip shot challenge
Sneak n Snore
Speed Hockey
Archer-ival
Saber Swipes
Because it actually required skill and juking out other player instead of pressing a button really fast or JUST GET LUCKY XD mechanics
Any of the newer ones worth playing?
Can't remember the names, but either the fire jump rope or the skateboarding one
But its a good idea to pick the same color as the last round loser's since the chances of exploding are slightly lower than any other option
Do you even statistics?
The actual solution to winning that game was 100% bullshit.
Obligatory
Why is posting links to streams a bannable offense?
Nobody fucking knows. Posters have been asking themselves that question for five years now, and the mods vehemently enforce the rule for no good reason. I encourage you to contact Hiroshima about it
Stream Retardy rn
All of it is bullshit, that's the point
>that fucking E-Card game with the heart sensor
That's wrong actually and is the basis behind the gambler's fallacy
because it violates the global rule about advertising? Otherwise, we would have camwhores and tons of people posting their youtubes and streams all over to shit the place up even more, as people go after the lowest demographic on the internet for a shot at some efame
Any game done in teams is good for a laugh
Especially when there's on guy complaining that he didn't get to finish reading the rules
That is literally a well known logical fallacy and now people on this Taiwanese cooking forum are going to make fun of you
I never lose at this one
I thought he meant it was banned on Twitch.
9, Island Tour, and 10 are complete shit. Island Tour is the least bad because it's a portable game and the more barebones nature works I guess.
8 sucks ass too besides the can shake jerk off minigame. 7 is bland. 6 is honestly god tier in my mind and has a lot of fun boards with good gimmicks and decent minigames, with a lot of them having different day/night varieties. 5 tries too much shit and fails. 4 is dull to me. Finally, the N64 trio is beautiful, as everyone knows.
Stick with the N64 ones or 6. 6 is good.
> be colorblind
> play this
How would that work?
>Literally gambler's fallacy
I hope you're not old enough to gamble you idiot.
No clue on that, I just seen the one user telling them to complain to Not-Moot about it
If I had to wager why it isn't allowed on Twitch, probably due to AI playing the game and not the players, who are all drinking during it
I get home in like half an hour. If this thread is up I'll post a Retardy stream. No commentary or anything, just raw Retardy.
>advertising
By this logic we should ban all links to sites containing ads.
Streams are not inherently about advertising. You can stream a game for fun and not to beg for money. A difficult concept to grasp, I know.
Even now, the only people dodging bans to post links to streams are harmless retardy/kung pow streams that don't beg for donations. If you equate online streaming with monetization then you are outing yourself as a newfag. Back when livestream and justin.tv were king there was no such thing as monetized streaming.
> be blind
> play this
How would that work?
To add to it, I would do commentary but I would have to find people to drink and stuff and I don't have anyone available. One guy drinking alone playing Retardy isn't fun.
Sick my dude
Color blind people have issues telling colors apart, they don't literally see in gray. The colored flag would probably help them, too.
It'd probably still suck though.
>tfw my internet's too shitty to stream retardy
Where would you draw the line?
How would you measure whether or not someone is doing it just for the money?
I suppose you could have someone check out the stream to see if they spot a tip jar, but then that requires each link to be investigated. I believe its far easier to ban all links to streams instead of making case by case exceptions.
Don't they have dog vision?
That clickbait shit was banned specifically so we could have normal mario party threads again. Please respect our wishes.
Now you're just being a contrarian fag to validate your opinion.
It's advertising in the fact that someone is peddling their goods and services in an unwanted manner here. Between all the dank memes, angry people blaming anything on SJW and people bitching about censorship of any degree in modern gaming, along with the occasional forced Barneyfag thread or Chris-chan's mangina, most people can agree that it would hurt the site to have people constantly spamming their twitch or other sites so they can try to scrape up a few anons to build a fanbase. One person does it, people copycat and then it gets really annoying, you know?
Add in the fact that it could also just be someone trying to setup a raid and merely posing as the operator of a stream / channel, and yeah, that's no beuno.
Yes, but dogs don't see in black and white either. They see yellow and blue, with no ability to tell red and green apart.
>It's advertising in the fact that someone is peddling their goods and services in an unwanted manner here
Only if somebody insists you pay for it does it become a "good" that is being "peddled"
A blanket ban on a certain type of website just because the content there MAY be somebody begging for donations is retarded
BWA HA HA DO YOU HAVE AN IMPLANTED DOG EYE TO TELL THAT YOU FAGGOT?!?!?
Scrub the chomp
...
...
Can you post a picture of what a dog would see?
Now I'm convinced you have brain damage. It isn't about money, it's about keeping the site from just divulging into "HEY ANONS I'M STREAMING THIS / JOIN 69CHAN SINCE MODS SUCK AND WE CAN DO BETTER!" kind of mentality.
You know, the stuff that caused Sup Forums to be overrun in the past to where stuff like /soc/ exists now, due to people constantly making hookup threads and telling people to contact them and other things.
The same reason /vp/ exists because there used to be endless Pokemon threads to the point that other discussions were drowned out. Or why /vp/ exists since people have 24/7 threads up about specific games or concepts.
The point is that with millions of new posts per day by over a million unique users, it turns into pure anarchy if people start trying to drag people off the site for things, and that shit is annoying to top it all off.
I don't remember the name, but it's the one that's like Vietnam only you're playing as civilians during a bombing run as the building slowly breaks apart.
You bit neon-flashing bait.
Google turned up this
Someone should post that image where it's a forced star swap, one person has like 6 stars and the other has zero. IIRC it may have daisy in it.
The one where you had the shake up a soda can with the wiimote and whoever had the highest spray won. It was always funny how uncomfortable people got when it would be chosen.
The one where you jump on bullet bills on GBA.
It was quite satisfying beating my brother's record so hard he never took it back on his own cartridge.
I think I'm the only one playing that who got nervous about it, nobody else seemed to mind.
Or maybe they did, because I always won.
>Play this with my sister
>I win every time
>Comment on how good I am at that game
>She looks me dead in the eye
>"Yeah, I wonder why?"
> shake it till it sprays
Sounds legit gay
You could probably make one with an image editor that had colour filtering.
lol every time.
If it's just a bunch of anons watching Mario Party together, I really don't see the big deal as long as there isn't some camwhore giving audio commentary.
I like the idea that I could wear a bright red morph suit, a friend could wear a bright green morph suit, and we could cling to the walls of a bright yellow environment and a dog couldn't see us.
Offer to help her practice and get better at it 1:1.
I was too focused on winning to think about sexual innuendos.
They could still recognize your outline and they would still be able to smell that you're there.
I want Peach to shake my soda can until it sprays.
user, that'd be incest, I can't do that! It's against God's will!
>The feel of that soft white glove stroking your soda can
I would create an unbeatable record for highest spray.
Fuck mario retardy
Mario bacardi x10 better
Starting Retardy soon. Going to do Mario Party 2. While I'm reinstalling xsplit, pick a map and some characters.
Again, no commentary because I don't have anyone to drink with, but if raw Retardy is your game, so be it. Made a new twitch channel for this too because someone said it was banned and even though apparently they were referring to Sup Forums twitch posting, I still don't want to risk it.
Luigi Wario Yoshi Peach
Do Horror Land.
>It's against God's will!
Somebody hasn't been a good Christian who reads the Bible.
Weegee always
>If I had to wager why it isn't allowed on Twitch, probably due to AI playing the game and not the players, who are all drinking during it
Nah, that twitch pokemon stream wouldn't have been allowed to do its thing and salty bet is still going strong.
Include a princess, they always make the worst decisions. Like using a cellphone to buy another cellphone.
twitch dot tv/funwithdespair
Live now. Just need to set Luigi to AI and we're good. Remember. No commentary.
I like the ones that you control like an actual Mario game. The platforming engine is surprisingly good.
