none. I'm surffing Sup Forums

I love Blood's art style.

same

So how did Blood have such a satisfying physics if the environments are actually 2D?

build engine magic
youtube.com/watch?v=Gev9adS9GTc

killzone 2

doom with immoral conduct and bloodstain.wad

what sourceport is that

input lag: the game

git gud

devbuild of gzdoom

...

beat it on the highest unlockable difficulty and rinsed its mp m8. still a really shitty game.

Has gzdoom totally replaced zdoom nowadays?

Been playing this. It's amazing game actually.

Playing Turok EX?

Really enjoyed EYE lately.

pretty much. the only reason to use zdoom over gzdoom is if you like the pixels and retro software look, but some user in the doom thread in /vr/ made a shader that replicates that so there's no point in zdoom anymore

Yes and it's fast pace as fark.

lol u missed

this game was so fucking shit I switched from PS3 to 360 completely

The first Red Faction for the PS2. Pretty Cool, a Total Recall/James Bond Storyline with over the top Bad Guys, I like that, the Controls of the PS2 are kinda shit, manual just function on a Bunch of Enemies in a Row and Auto Aim is buggy sometimes, but overall a real good and fun Game, at least a 7/10.

i took the screenshot a frame too early it blew him into bits

no it didn't

Shadow Warrior 1997, got it free a while back, and E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy.

God damn it, why is Blood so good?

yes it did
kys

lol that's a bad reason to switch to shitbox, I hated microsoft since my xboxs kept dying

I WANT JOJO, I WANT JOJO. JOJO! JOJO!

I know the game and I know you're full of shit
:^)

Best mod for doom?

Battlefield BC2 for nostalgia reasons.

Is 4 worth it on sale? Is it better then 3?

>if you like the pixels
just turn off texture filtering

Not well enough to know how to judge perspective in a 2.5D game

>Pirate Doom
>Going Down
>Unloved
>Samsara
>Project Brutality

lol I've been playing Blood since its release aka the year you were born

A weird one, but Brutal Wolfenstein is pretty much the only decent thing with the "Brutal" thing in the title: The faster pace, higher damage out\input, and new weapons make the game a pretty fun experience, and it's neat to see Wolfenstein 3D remade in the Doom engine.

Have you guys played Demon Steele?

No, but it sure looks fun.

>he's never tossed dynamite while strafing
And you say you've been playing since '97

Nu-Doom (Nightmnare)

Quake

just turning off the texture filters in gzdoom doesn't replicate the software renderer look of zdoom/chocolate doom though

I hope you're baiting. kys otherwise

We should

But we wont

lol youre playing on ez too what a scrub

...

>build engine magic
there's a level with a 720degree circle in duke 3d

I am playing Blood right now but I am playing the Death Wish fan campaign that came out in 2011.

I honestly think Death Wish is better than vanilla blood, and probably one of the greatest mods of all time. Only negative is the levels are a bit more linear, but the set pieces are fucking incredible especially for Build Engine. Every level is extremely memorable and clever in their own way.

Have you played Death Wish yet OP? I highly recommend it.

Build engine games have way fewer map packs than Doom but there are some really quality ones. DNF 2013 is top tier too in terms of setpieces.

DNF-mod is a lot like Death Wish in that it feels like the real sequel that we never got, besides new monsters and weapons and stuff.

I would say Death Wish is even better than DNF though, and it was only made by 1 person.

Are there any good shadow warrior map packs? I never really played that one.

I'm so fucking bored and tired of life, anyone want to coop E.Y.E?

death wish is one of the greatest expansions I've ever played. it's fantastic.

There are probably some good individual maps for Shadow Warrior, but I don't think there are any good full chapters or campaigns for SW. I think it was harder to map for it for some reason, also it was even more cult and obscure than Blood was, it really wasn't successful at all. I don't think lots of normies even knew about the game until they re-released it on steam and then made the remake.

...

I played some quake last night

I'm currently playing King's Field

I can see why Miyazaki had a hard on for this game

>I never asked for you

>posting this p2w bullshit in an FPS thread

fuck outta here kid

>kid
woah this nerd's tough look out Sup Forums

While Ascend was a step up from the Ken Levine's pile of shit called Vengeance, it still doesn't hold a candle to Tribes 1 and 2. I only wish people could experience those games at their peak.

vulkan has to be some kind of magical trickery.

my r9 290 is doing over 110FPS on everything maxed holy fuck

Good taste.

...

i'm playing this very game right now for the first time. it's not the great experience i was expecting so far. level design and enemies are meh and there's a lot of die and retry. exhumed is still better

>exhumed is still better
Nah

kys

beggining is pretty tedious, because you're constantly short on ammunition

Will pic related bring bak the old Monolith's FPS? Shogo and Blood?

Is that SS HD? Would you recomend me it when I already have the Revolution version?

Bioshock Infinite! Loving the story so far

I liked vengeance's single player

Granted I was just happy to see any game using the ut2k4 engine.

But I liked Daniel and rhe robot assassin dude mercury

And the talks about bioderms, and other references to earthsiege and mission force cyberstorm.

Tribes 2 was definitely the better game for multilayer and two of my autistic finds still play construction mod on it to this day.

Playing through the Crysis series. The first game and Warhead were ridiculously fun. 2 was ok, on 3 now. It's funny that even the linear sections people bash the games for are still more open-ended than most shooters, it's amazing how many options you have most of the time.

Shogo's IP is for sale now by Interplay. He might just buy it and make a sequel. Is Jace Hall a blasian? Whats up with those eyes?

youtube.com/watch?v=X68Mm_kYRjc

Fuck yeah blowing a fucking hole in the map and using that sniper/rail gun in multiplayer

>Is that SS HD? Would you recomend me it when I already have the Revolution version?
yeah, it's pretty much same thing but prettier. Make sure to use vivid color setting, default one is pretty dark

See pic related

More vids where Carmack chokes out people?

Thanks, user. I think I will buy it (an update fucked all my savegames in Revolution version)

>S
I know he's half black, got away with saying nigga on his show

>no brutal doom
>waah its popular waaaaaah

The Blood remaster he wanted to make got cancelled because Atari are fucking retards.

SS1 = SS2 >>>>>>>> Bioshock Infinite = Bisohock 2 > Bioshock

>He doesn't know

Are they making an oldschool FPS known as "vital internal fluids" where you play as Kaleb?

Exept

SS1 = SS2 > Bioshock > Bioshock 2 >>>>>>> Bioshock Infinite

Dirty Bomb but i notice that with age i have lost my cordination. Just 2 years ago i was able to perform much better than today. I have grown out of video games both mentally and physically. Now there is only work.

Haven't played B2&I but System Shock is fucking shit.

Bioshock 1 is a remake of SS2 except shittier in every way. At least Infinite tried to do its own thing. It wasn't a great game but it didn't feel like a boring rehash.

>Bioshock 1 is a remake of SS2 except shittier in every way.
Bioshock is boring but it sort of has better combat (in theory, at least).

Also, I gotta give them props for making an unique and visually compelling setting instead of fairly generic cyberpunk.

Battlefield 2. Playing as a squad leader is really fun. I bought BF4 and got bored almost immediately, but I'm really having fun in BF2.

>practically The Mummy(1999): The Game
>actually challenging puzzles
>excellent atmosphere
>engaging OST
youtube.com/watch?v=4QrRItCeKSI
>spooky enemies
>decent, if not good gunplay

One of the most overlooked FPS's there is.

Try Project Reality. It's free.

Don't make people fall for that shit. If you can actually like digging the bottom of the barrel for really low budget FPS games after they have played every single one, you can definitely do worse, but it's still a pretty shitty COD game that rips off uncharted and alan wake.

The one thing that's actually pretty good about it is the level art design can actually be pretty beautiful even if its ripping off uncharted.

I'll download that later. First I want to master BF2.

>run for 30 minutes to get shot simulator

>get yelled at by armchair marines simulator

>get banned for trying to learn how to play the game simulator

on downtime from trying to beat Quake Nightmare difficulty not hits and all secrets. barely on the third chapter and it's taken me all week so might give up.

You'd have to be a real fucking idiot to get banned in PR.

>run for 30 minutes to get shot simulator

You're playing the game wrong.

Wonder how much this will suck
