Eh, I disliked the reliance on the cape to discover secrets, and really just the cape in general.

It kinda trivializes a lot of platforming, which is the best part of Mario.

The cape is cool, though. Giving players the freedom to cheese through levels and feel like a goddamn superhero for those that want to was awesome, but there are plenty of times where I skip the cape and play normally, since I have the freedom to choose that as well.

The game is already super easy, but if you really wanted to balance it, they could have made it more rare. Like slightly less than how rare hammer bros suit and tanooki suit are in SMB3.
