>zero Escape 3 was shit and the series is over
>everyone is tired of AA boring same formula

Its time for the king to take AA place as the best VN games.

Case 2's stupidity is making me angry.

The Dangan 3 anime has completely ruined everything with how fucking stupid it has gotten though.

I guess it's a good thing the next game is a soft reboot in that regard

>Not enough colored minorities
>it's the same formula
>doesn't have a female lead

>piss easy cases that require overly long minigames to even simulate difficulty
>literally only one well-written character
>retarded ideology wars all over the place apart from the first game
>half-assed social links
>there will only ever be 3 useful people in the class trials
>absolutely retarded main villain that just keeps coming back but never doing anything interesting
I love DR but it is in no way better than Ace Attorney.

>What the FUCK went wrong?
They didn't leave GS as a trilogy.

>it was just a prank, lobster boy

I don't know, man. I liked Case 1. I don't know why people complain about how there's only 5 cross-examinations when the Insight is like a more interactive cross examination. I'm liking Case 2, as well. Can someone who's playing through Case 3 tell me if it suffers from Case 3 syndrome?

...

The original creator of Phoenix Wright was done with the series after the third game. He said he felt like Phoenix's character had been completely explored, and that the series was meant to end there.

Capcom of course couldn't just end a crazy popular IP when it had come to its logical conclusion, and made Apollo Justice which was just... really bad. Mediocre retread of old game mechanics and everything new was unpleasant and made no sense. Every time they give you a new concept like footprint analysis or whatever you never use it again.

You don't even win the final case yourself. Phoenix announces they're using a jury to decide and the villain goes batshit and completely unravels out of fucking nowhere after being calm the entire trial.

Put the fucking gun down. NOW.

If it makes things any better, the last case of AA6 is won by Apollo for real this time.

At least they also introduced Tracey who I happen to think is adorable.

>Fans know exactly what they're getting from Phoenix Wright, and Spirit of Justice doesn't disappoint.
Sounds like nothing went wrong to me.

It made critics feel stupid.

Apparently a series staying true to its core mechanics is an excuse to lower its score nowadays.

>DR
>ever beng the best VN

If that shit was the best VN then VN would be a truly shit genre. AA continues king.

>babby's first mystery VN vs. babby's first EDGY mystery VN
Just because they're both good doesn't mean they're not entry level and they're certainly nowhere near the best.

AA hasn't been good since the original trilogy.

Nah, AA is the best

Betty a cute! A CUTE!

>Not Bonnie

POOR TASTE BRO

Bonnie a shit. Her cutesy shtick bores me.

Whats so stupid about it?

>VN
Kill this meme. They're pretty much point-and-click adventure games and in DR's case, pseudo-RPG's.

>DR is a psuedo RPG
Fucking how?

Just got to case 3 and I fucking loved case 2, definitely the best case 2 in the series

now bye faggots I ain't getting spoiled

Not him but I guess he considers the fact that you can walk back and forth and look at shit in SDR2 to grind for levels to get more Influence (HP) ,Focus (Bullet Time) and skill slots makes the game a pseudo-RPG.

I don't agree though.

It has levels, skills and social links. It's more like a Persona-lite in that case.

Apparently nothing. Guess I better pick this up.
