Mafia wasn't a stick to walls cover shooter. I didn't even play Mafia II. The series wasn't good because you stuck to walls while shooting. It is a totally unnecessary mechanic. People don't even do that in real life. It's a regression in game design. The type of thing that is only added because of the limitations imposed by console controllers.

Basketball Americans will buy it, no matter how shit it is. They mainly play sports games and CoD, but are expanding their horizons now that Mafia 3 and Watch Dogs 2 are going full dindu.

The sound is mixed fucking shitstyle. Anything you do overpowers the ambient audio. Sneaking and switching weapons is so loud it feels like you're a fucking gorilla in a glass house. This is not a day one purchase especially with story expanding dlc already on the way. Just wait until next year if you really need another open world do nothing game.

No, because Mafia two was mainly just a story driven piece of linear filth. And the fact that the devs were successfull with two even though it was bad, can only lead to three being either worst or unplayble. Shoehorning in the main character as a uninspiring " AM A KILL ALL YOU CRACKAS FOO" nigger instead of straight up venturing outside of the mafia world and maybe trying their hands at a game about black organized crime in the 70s era only made it worst

There are many different districts (I think 8) that all have different designs and culture (Swamp, red light district, ghettos, rich people area etc.). The NPCs act differently towards you in these areas also.
