2 big japanese companies just dumped millions of dollars to advertise the japanese Evo, and SFV is the biggest fighting game right now, even if sales aren't helping I feel like SFV is getting a lot of help from esports, not to mention the ESPN thing gave it a lot of visibility too. So yeah, I'd say Season 2 and 3 are guaranteed, what happens after that depends on Capcom though, they have plenty of time to fix the game, let's see if they do it.

Capcom might be slow to learn but they're taking feedback into account, for example they're adding a versus CPU mode in the next update and a proper arcade mode might be coming in a future update. The only thing Capcom is handling poorly is the rage quitting issue, and that's probably because they're too inept to implement a proper fix, not that they don't care.

The fireball store kick is inferior in the neutral game now too. They took away her entire fireball game and left her with a shitty weak ass version of her low fireball. She doesn't even have an ex fireball anymore. She has literally no punch specials, even though the counter-teleport was a nice tool to utilize, especially the EX version where you could use it as a reversal and cross-people up with it because you could change the trajectory of the EX version.

She doesn't have her dive kick anymore so no more instant-air divekicks. No more divekick into fireball store. No more jumping medium punch into dive kick into fireball store. No more Jump medium punch into dive kick wall bounce into head stomp to instantly ground someone. No more jump medium punch juggles into dive kick into wall bounce into pinwheel. No more fucking anything. If I sat here and wrote out everything they took away I'd be here forever.

She lost a lot of her good normals too for no fucking reason. Why is her neutral jump heavy kick no longer a split kick that hits on both sides? Like WHAT THE FUCK.
