Sup Forums, I'm thinking about picking this up. Any recommended builds?

pls help

Malk and Nossies are not recommended for your first time but anything is fine.
You can get through a lot of the game with social but you're also gonna need some combat skill.

Why are Malks not recommended? I was thinking of choosing that.

Malks in the lore are insane so the dialog will be all wacky and not really make any sesnse

also if you get the game be sure to download and install the fan made patch for the game it fixes alot of the game bugs

what game?

Vampire the Masquerade Bloodlines
An Rpg game

The malkavian dialogue actually has a lot of spoilers and hints to future events in the game that will not make any sense on the first play through.

Tremeres are ez mode if that's what you're into

Oh shit I played this game like a few months ago and need to pick it up again. My class was the rich snobby vampires

Malks have completely unique dialogue, which might be hard to follow if you don't already know the story.
Also some oh their dialogue sort of contains spoilers, since they can see the future.

Their insight/insanity lets them choose some interesting dialogue choices that might spoil some tweests and you might misinterpret some others because they barely make any sense.

>spoilers and hints to future events in the game that will not make any sense on the first play through.
I think that's exactly what makes them great for a first playthrough

Do malks hear voices as you play the game?

Nah, you'll completely miss out on tons of subtleties. But do whatever you want.

They do.

They're LOL so random humorists, liked only by the most obnoxious of internet plebs.

Yes. There are some easy to miss/hard to understand whispers. I think some are from wesps plus patch though.

I'm sold

Also, as for builds you can just go with whatever you. Most of the combat is pretty easy. A large portion of the game can be completed through social skills but you will still need to fight occasionally. The end portion of the game is very combat heavy.

Sneak attacks are very OP especially with obfuscate. Unarmed is always nice because it always you to feed in combat and therefor regen health. I like melee more than guns but both are viable. Boosting your blood buff if always a good idea both for combat and lockpicking.

>it's a Sup Forums loses its shit about whether Malks belong in the first or second playthrough episode

Play whatever clan you want, nigro.

I would truly recommend saving malk for a second run. It will be a lot more rewarding, noticing various small things.

does somebody have the gif of those people in a club dancing like the asylum guys?

No one is "losing their shit". I actually played as malk my first time because I thought the female was the most qt. It wasn't until I played a "normal" clan and went back to malk that it really clicked with me though and I appreciated it much more.

Dialog is fucked. I ended up killing Mercurio because of that.

What's the next best race besides malk for a first playthrough?

any of them except nosferatu

Malks are not good for a first playthrough!

How do I make this run on win 8.1? the patches did nothing.

VoiceS telL me TO deLeT sYstem 32

It's up to you, really.
Read the descriptions and pick one that sounds fun

Sorry I was planning on Malk first user.
