Coming from a guy who has beaten MGS4 many times more than I'd like to admit, Snake's mustache is the worst part of the game. Even ignoring the overtly disgusting aesthetics of his mustache, it's painfully obvious that he only dons it as a means to differentiate himself from Big Boss. Solid, really goes out of his way to avoid being likened to his father. Sometimes its just small things like using his Solid Eye on his left eye, and other times its ri-fucking-diculous, like his personal ban on CQC. His dumbass mustache, however, is in a league of its own. Unlike the other two, the mustache straight up KILLS the "badass, independent, self-sustaining, soldier" vibes I used to get from Solid. I can only ever take Old Snake seriously if I have him using a facecamo that covers his god awful mustache.
