It kinda annoyed me how they kept mispronouncing the word Doktor. Emphasis is on the first syllable, not the second. It's DOKtor, not dokTOR.

Now, usually I wouldn't mind something like that but it's literally almost the same word as the english word doctor so a cast of english speaking voice actors should be able to figure out that you stress the same syllable aswell.

I know that's incredibly pedantic but I wanted to get it out of my system.

Armstrong decided the best way to get enough power to end the War Economy was to exploit the War Economy, and then abolish all of it so America could be rebuilt in his vision, that of a nation where one's power in society is correlated to their physical strength/ability to take what they want and go their own way. Sundowner wanted to promote it, and was probably fed a lie about Armstrong wanting to as well.

At the end of the game, Raiden realizes that while Armstrong's philosophy is batshit insane to apply to a country, it's not a bad way to live your life if you can make it work. So Raiden cuts ties with any and all organizations and decides to live his own life, fighting for only himself and nobody else.

It's muddled within all the memes, but the ideology of each major character is pretty clear when you think about it.

I was stuck on Armstrong for the longest fucking time. I don't think any boss had ever roadblocked me like that, aside from Vergil in DMC3:SE and maybe Mother Brain Metroid: ZM on Hard mode.

I remember trying to beat Armstrong across like, 2-3 separate gaming sessions that were like 2 hours each. That catharsis I felt when I finally beat him was something else.

NOTHING else gave me all that much trouble in the game either but Armstrong is still probably the hardest vidya boss I've fought in a while. And I started on Hard mode too.

I mean, I wouldn't mind.
