Not really, I was just playing this the other day.

>tfw own PS3
I really wish I could play the game.

Yeah, we got shat on on this one.

Not really, i can play the superior version and the sequel on my Wii U already

I think the framerate is actually more consistent on 360 than it is on Wii U

Is there really anyone who hasn't played this game already? Seriously, I like the thought of backwards comparability, but the 360's library was kind of mediocre. Any fan of it would already have a 360 so why even bother?

>Is there really anyone who hasn't played this game already?
I didn't, because PS3 version is absolute shit.
I wish Microsoft put 360 emulation on Win10 or Sega released PC port.

So you didn't even try it? Not at all? Then how would you know? Because some guys on the Internet told you?

Even though I've already through Bayonetta a couple of times on 360 and once on the WiiU, I'll take it over another shitty 360 arcade game nobody wants.

Its not

Yes. When company developing the game says themselves the version is absolute dogshit and the lowest point of their history, that really means something.

There you go.

Anyway, I get the fact that people have played the game but I am seriously getting the impression that this is practically unwelcomed news by everyone's reaction.

Okay. Because it was okay on PS3. The only real shitty part was textures failing to load during a certain boss fight. Everything else was fine. Frankly, I think the hate was unjustified. Also, the game wasn't that great. It was okay but too many things prevented it from being great. Same with almost all Platinum games.

wiiu version better than 360 but 360 controller's better.

>Is there really anyone who hasn't played this game already?
PCucks.

It originally had 30 fps lock on PS3 despite looking worse than 360 version and it's not much better after patch.

The game runs slowdown.
>I heard people claiming that the PS3 version was playable and somewhat enjoyable but I will completely disagree with them. I mean look at this, I don't even need witch time at all when everything constantly runs in slow-motion. At 00:57 the game literally eats up my inputs and it messes up my dodge offset, I end up kicking the two angel guys and I start a ground punish for no reason, this is insane.

What am I supposed to see hear? they run about the same if not wiiu slightly better, but 360 side has a bunch of screen tearing

I like the gamepad how wide it is makes it too awkward to use for games like Bayonetta.

the Pro controller just shits on the 360 controller though

no one actually plays anything other than splatoon with the screenpad tho

Mario Maker
Also it was cool in Pikmin 3

I was talking about the pro.
the right stick/face buttons swapping location makes it more of a hassle to to bounce between the two.

the actual article

"n its original form on Xbox 360 the game did a reasonable job of hitting its 60fps target while a soft v-sync setup allowed for torn frames when the game was unable to sustain its 16ms update. The same setup is used on PS3 as well but that version barely manages to sustain 30fps, let alone the full 60. As we saw with Bayonetta 2, and nearly every other Wii U game for that matter, tearing has been eliminated in favour of a triple-buffering setup allowing for a variable frame-rate without the unsightly visual artefact.

How does the Wii U stack up against Xbox 360 then? To put it simply: very favourably. In fact, while it's difficult to nail down a 1:1 comparison due to the game's chaotic nature, similar sequences actually suggest slightly faster overall performance on Wii U. Coupling a slightly higher frame-rate with the elimination of screen-tear results in a smoother experience overall. Frame-rate drops occur in all of the same situations as Xbox 360, but the bulk of the experience seems to maintain its 60fps target fairly well indeed."

W101 was pretty good on the gamepad

>makes it more of a hassle
no it doesnt, you only think that way because you are used to one setup but people these days arent very adaptive when it comes to controllers anymore, its a 15 minute adjustment at worst.

Not quite. The 360 is performing better. If you are just looking at the numbers then you're missing the action and the points where each games drops in performance. The Wii U drops deeper when performing the same action as the 360. Yeah, there are parts where the Wii U is doing better while doing the same thing but it's not that often.

I think it's for the same reason it was so poorly made for the PS3. If I'm not mistaken this was Platinum's first multi platform game and it was build for the 360 and ported to everywhere else but it's not made with those other platforms in mind and so it optimizes on the 360. The Wii U is a more than outstanding port but I think a lot of the stuff that made it work on the 360 still peaks here and there.

I dont think platinum was even the one that ported the PS3 version.

and there arent even any framerate numbers in that coparison

Me again. I did forget to mention, I notice that it is true, though, that the Wii U version does have less screen tearing. I only played B2 on the WiiU but it WAS smooth...

nvm, thought the 2nd video was ps3 360 only

No, you're right, they weren't. There was a whole article the President made about how B1 was their biggest failure and how it taught them to never let others port their games again.

I've really grown to like it after moving in with roomates, it's super nice to use while watching tv/they are playing a different game.

i dont use it because i dont want to damage it
have you seen what those controllers cost?
IF you can even find one

>Disc: For disc-based games that are a part of the Back Compat game catalog, simply insert the disc and the console will begin downloading the game to your hard drive. After the game has finished downloading, you will still need to keep the game disc in the drive to play.

>We want steam audience.
sonybronny here, was holding off with buying PS4 till they show neo and now I think I might go xtorpedo this gen

>After the game has finished downloading, you will still need to keep the game disc in the drive to play.
sure, this is pretty lame but its not like youre playing another game at the same time
also, it will be available as a digital purchase at the same time if i understand correctly
