Actual benchmarks have shown the original PS4 to be so low that it wouldn't even be on that chart, fuck knows how low the PS4 Pro would realistically be.

Not to mention most PC bros would laugh pretty heartily at the concept of there being a paywall to select resolutions above 1280x720 and setting textures to anything above medium.

I'm doing the opposite, reconsidering whether or not I should grab a PS4 Pro. I don't have a 4k TV anyway so the upscaling shit doesn't concern me. But seeing the price hike for multiplayer, the alleged charging for Pro patches and apparently games still can't do 1080p/60fps with all the graphical settings to match the PC version is just making me seriously reconsider things. I only want it for the exclusives, Spiderman especially. But a handful of games isn't enough to justify an entire console.

user, GTX 1060 is a $200 card on newegg right now, and RX 470 is about $180. RX 480 is $230 or so. All of these are new.

I've got a 4k screen but I wouldn't recommend it. 1440p144hz would be much better since you pretty much get the best of both worlds there. The 1080 can't yet go constant 4k60fps with everything maxed in newer games (I'm getting around 50fps4k at near max in Mankind Divided).

I doubt this will actually run games better than my computer and I have a GTX 970, it will still be bottlenecked by the netbook CPU, the GPU never really was the issue with the original PS4. Besides, I prefer the freedom I get with a PC.
