look now further. Chao garden alone makes the game.
Best Sonic game?

No, a side feature made specifically for autists doesnt make it better than any other game where gameplay is the focus.
Sonic 3&K exists, so no.
I like Sonic Heroes
Right here to nigga. I started a new save last week. Already beat all stories. Doing team sonics and team chaotix side missions now. I love how much content heroes has, makes it fun to replay
I remember enjoying it as a kid. have not played it since then, really should give it another go.
When will the meme that early 3D sonic games are good die?
adventure one is awful
Name a game with a better OST than SA2B. Almost every track is at least a 8/10
I hate the game but I'm not even going to attempt that challenge.
Sonic unleashed has the best soundtrack of any game ever made
I never played it, but I know that one song "Endless Possibility" and it's great, so I'll give you partial credit

Youre missing out. If you have a 360, download the demo
I played the demo and thought it was ok, but the Werehog stages threw me off.
Overrated.
Thats to bad, youre missing some fun platforming and collecting, but its not for everyone.
Maybe if you picked the US OST I would have been more inclined to agree with you, but you didn't so no.
I do like the JP OST, but I feel the US beats it with tracks like Stardust Speedway bad future, Tidal Temple, and Sonic Boom
US is better
I dont really care for this games music. It sounds to chaotic and doesnt fit the game really. It fits the 90s way more. The US is slightly better imo but nothings topping unleashed for quite some type. Huge variety of music expertly recorded and composed to convey different parts of the world and capture the richness of different cultures. Doesnt get better than that.
Spyro the Dragon baybeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Literally the first time I've seen more than 1 person at a time in a thread prefer the US OST. That being said I did like it also, just not nearly as much as a JP one. Tidal Tempest Present & Bad Future and Stardust Speedway Present are extremely dope in it but nothing else really impressed me though.
SS GF US is enough for me to rank it above. You havent lived until youre going down an empty freeway at night with SSGF blasting
>look now further.
Only Sonic and Shadow's levels were fun.
>Chao garden alone makes the game.
Nope. Again, only Sonic and Shadow's levels were fun.
Sonic Adventure 2 is one of the worst sonic games.
>that retarded somersault move
>that butchered treasure hunting
>those mech sections that somehow managed to be worse than SA1
To me, the US tracks goes better with the game. The tone of the game mixed with the music makes the perfect atmosphere when compared to the JP tracks.
Fuck this wonky ass gayme that only autists and furries like and the only reason they do is because nostalgia blindness.
Worst controls because of little to no camera control, laughably cringey cutscenes, shoehorned in "mini-games" which they left in as actual levels (tails/eggman and knuckles/rouge levels, not to mention the shitty car racing levels). It has that Sonic Team lack of polish you would come to expect from any of their other games, and yet people brag about how "THIS IS THE DEFINITIVE 3D SONIC GAME".
No. It's just shit.
Adding in to the US preference. I love them both, really, but whenever I play CD, I stick with the US OST.
The Jap soundtrack is really catchy, though, and is better for listening outside of the game.
tidal tempest's and stardust speedway's songs are definitely the highlight of the US soundtrack but I quite like quartz quadrants songs too. Sonic Boom is also still the best song with lyrics in the series
I feel like the us cd soundtrack is kinda darker, more mysterious which fits into my headcanon for sonic cd more. The other one is like danceclub music and all poppy and shit. Doesnt feel right to me. I feel like sonic cd can be described as a light horror game because the pressure of leaving behind a wasteland is always present and the more toned down and appropriate us soundtrack conveys that feeling much better.
>which fits into my headcanon for sonic cd more
Sonic CD is goat.
i originally always thought 2 and 3 were superior but ive done a few playthroughs recently and its great.
its creepy and surreal in a way, especially with the Japanese soundtrack, but the us soundtrack has its creepy moments too. im 99% sure the devs took lsd while making it, and i love it for that
